As first timers, we needed to find somewhere to accommodate Dexter to allow us to attend a family wedding. We met Alice & bernard in advance and they were a perfect fit. Dog lovers, with a lovely welcoming home. Dexter felt at home immediately and following our introductory meeting we absolutely no reservations about leaving him overnight. The communication was fantastic, very professional and very helpful and informative. We are first time dog owners and had a fear of leaving Dexter somewhere strange overnight - all that was dispelled. As it turns out we got home early - but Dexter loved his short stay
I WILL NEVER USE KENNELS AGAIN!!!!! I totally recommend this company, the lady (Lorraine in Dunster) who looked after our Jack Russell was amazing she took onboard all of our comments on the way we care for our dog and she did the same with her while we were away also sending us pics and updates on her stay. I was so so worried for our dog as she’s a mummies girl and totally loved and spoiled hence kennels is out of the question but Lorraine mirrored the way we cared for her and she settled in quickly. I know the owner Alistair is very particular on who he employees I definitely feel I made the right decision and will never go elsewhere I would definitely recommend this company 100%
Bella, our 12 (almost 13) year old golden retriever isn't as active as she used to be and is rather set in her ways, but she loves going to her PetStay homes. This time she started out with Don and Jenefer in West Lynn and made herself at home immediately. I think she remembered the nice walks (the muddier the better as far as she is concerned) but luckily Don and Jenefer took all that in their stride, as well as her obstinate ways (like refusing to move when she thought the walk should take a different direction) D&J went the extra mile, like all the PetStay carers we have met, and even dropped Bella with her next carer, Eleta. The move went like clockwork, and she settled in with Eleta without a care (or a thought for us!). Despite the need to share her time between carers, we were able to go away without a worry and know that she was in the best of care at both her holiday homes.
Hello. My name is Beryl I am an 18 month old Jack Russell cross. When my doggy mum and dad decided to go on holiday we were worried about where I would stay. Fortunately we found Mary's family through Petstay. They were all very kind and caring, and made me feel at home with plenty of cuddles and adventures. They took great care of me. When my mum and dad go away again I really look forward to staying with Mary and her lovely family again. My dad said that Mary's mum, Sophia, was very good with a professional and reassuring approach which gave peace of mind. So, we have no hesitation in recommending Petstay to any of my doggy friends and their families.
This was the first time we’ve used a home boarding service & it was very successful! Sophia was very helpful & sorted out just the right carers for Stokes. Our pre-meeting with Jenefer & Don went well: they are obviously experienced dog owners & really put us at ease. When leaving Stokes we were still anxious but Jenefer sent photos & updates that evening of him settling in which was very reassuring! We’d definitely recommend PetStay Norfolk: so much more homely than boarding kennels. Thank you!
First time using PetStay and would definitely use again if a situation arose where I couldn’t take Terrance with us. This was the first time we had left Terrance with anyone since adopting him 18months ago, so I was very anxious about finding the right carer. Carolyn put all my worries to rest as soon as I met her. She is very experienced with Staffies and used to the breed characteristics. Carolyn provided lots of photos and updates which gave me great piece of mind and allowed me to enjoy my time away with my family. Would highly recommend PetStay and especially Carolyn
This is the first time Kia was left with someone who wasn’t family so was a bit apprehensive. Kia stayed with Alice and Bernard who took such good care of her I’m not sure she wanted to come back. I received messages and pictures that put my mind at ease knowing she was ok. Jane done an amazing job setting Kia up with Alice. Would definitely recommend and use the service again.
Geri and Mike were fantastic hosts to our young cocker spaniel, Edie. She seemed very happy and they gave her plenty of walks and cuddles. We have booked Edie for another stay in January.
We felt very happy to leave our dogs, Toddy and Rufus, with Don and Jenefer. They are clearly animal lovers. During the stay they kept us up to date with Toddy & Rufus's activities from daily walks to chilling out on the sofa - a true home from home for them. The booking process with PetStay was very thorough and efficient. We have no hesitation in booking with them again and highly recommend Don and Jenefer as surrogate owners.
Olive loved her stay with Wendy. It was great to get updates about what Olive had been up to that day and it was great how quickly Olive settled in. Wendy put my mind at ease and looked after Olive like she was her own.

I have used Petstay twice, the first time was when I've needed a place for my 4 year old greyhound to stay while we moved house. She was so well looked after I wanted to book her in with the same couple again, and I have felt confident that she is happy with them and gets an experience very like being at home (even being allowed to kip on the sofa, her favourite activity!). I think the admin charge for Petstay is a little high (and would prefer to pay the actual carers more and less for admin...) but it's wonderful that the service exists to help pet owners who are looking for a more homely experience than kennels and the peace of mind is worth it.
Isabelle is amazing when it comes to both dog training and boarding. She is very caring and my two cocker spaniels loved their training with her, which was really effective and has lasted over time. In regards to boarding, my boys could not have been better looked after. The checks are really thorough and the families that look after the dogs, amazing. One of the selected few people I would really trust with my dogs. Thank you for everything you've done for our boys. Lots of love Susie🥰🐶🥰🐶
We could not speak more highly of Lauren who organized our home boarding for our two doggies or Maria who looked after them. The process of matching is to Maria was smooth and we had such peace of mind that the dogs were safe and happy having met Maria beforehand. Maria and her husband could not have been kinder or more dog friendly accommodating all of our dogs individual needs during their stay. They were so well looked after that we were able to enjoy our holiday. We will definitely being using Lauren and Maria again in the near future.
This was my first time using petstay and it was faultless. The booking process was easy and I felt that our needs were fully considered. Alice and Bernard were fantastic with both my dogs. I was anxious as neither had been away from us outside immediate family and one of our dogs is a rescue. I needn’t have worried as they kept me up to date with pictures of all the fun they had. I’ve rebooked for our holiday next year already. I would recommend for anyone
This was the first time we had used Petstay and we were really happy with the whole experience. Jimmy our Whippet was only 8 months old when we went away for the weekend and it was the first time we had left him for a long period of time but Mark, our carer, put us at our ease when we took Jimmy for a visit and sent us a photo of him on the second day of the stay. Jimmy was happy and calm when we collected him and we've already booked for him to stay with Mark again next year.
My 11 month old Cocker Spaniel Magnificat loved staying with Jane in Markfield. He enjoyed being part of Geoffrey's pack. Geoffrey is Jane's elderly Jack Russell. Jane coped well with Magni's bouncy and quite demanding behaviour. She sent some lovely photos and updates of Magni bonding with Geoffrey. We will definitely see if Jane is free for our next holiday if we decide not to take Magni with us. Thanks Jane for allowing us a fabulous dog-free holiday in Cornwall, as a Dog Trainer myself I needed the break, we all feel well refreshed.

This was the first time I’d used Petstay and, with a dog who can sometimes be reactive around new dogs, it was fair to say that I was a little nervous about leaving him. Carole however totally put my mind at rest and Milo loved saying with her. After an initial meet and greet he just sailed right in and looked completely at home and happy to be with Carole! I received regular updates and lovely photos of one very happy dog while we were away. Would definitely recommend! :)
