Our dog Max LOVES staying with his boarders through Pet Stay. They're a fantastic couple who know how to handle German Shepherds having had plenty of experience with the breed. We always feel like he's in good hands, and he get so excited when he realises he's getting to go on his holidays!
We needed a nice home with a loving carer for Jacob our lovely cockapoo as we didn't think a kennel would suit our favourite boy. Well, we were given advice by our local vet that Petstay sounded one of our best options. Having had contact with Amy, Jacob & I headed for a meet & greet what a pleasant surprise. Amy is an experienced previous dog owner with a superb personality and a really caring nature and she & Jacob got on well from Day 1. When we dropped Jacob off a couple of months later Jacob trotted straight into the kitchen and made himself at home. We had such a lovely week away knowing our Jacob was in trusted hands and we were kept up to date with lovely messages and photos. This is the fourth time I have used Pets Stay and I can honestly say each time has been brilliant . Leigh matches you fantastically with the right sitter , and then you get to meet them and check all parties are happy before your pets stay. During your holiday you get pictures and updates on your dog and it truly makes your holiday . I could not recommend Pet Stay more highly , and best of all Ralph gets a holiday too !
We were at a loss for what to do when it came to finding anyone to look after our dog while we were away because we were unable to find anyone. I discovered this company thanks to a search on Google. I was able to locate a wonderful babysitter. The pricing was transparent, and the sitter's profile as well as the evaluations were of great assistance. Throughout the course of our trip, the sitter kept us informed by sending us messages and pictures via the internet, and we were extremely satisfied with their services. I will most certainly continue to make use of this team!
This is the second time we have used PetStay, but with a different carer. Winston had the best time with Jean and Paul, they looked after him exceptionally well and he was sad to leave them when we went to pick him up. I would definitely recommend PetStay to any dogowner going away, they make everything easy and with the reassurance of being fully licenced and approved. Jean and Paul were fabulous with Winston and would book with them again in the future.
Sybil had a very happy stay with Gillian. She was well looked after.
I have had such a great experience with PetStay, from initial contact to my local branch, to finding a sitter and meeting them. Our little Cece was well looked after, we got plenty of updates and photos. I will definitely be using them again!

Great experience with PetStay. This is the 3rd time we have used them and have been impressed and satisfied with all 3 experiences. We leave our Hubble with Dot and honestly she is worth her weight in gold. This woman is my hero. Kept in touch with me even though I must have been annoying her at times! I feel like Dot genuinely cares about my dog and tunes into his needs, moods and even enjoys his cheeky temperament. Dot should be knighted.
This was our first time leaving our 8 year old lab with someone he didn’t know. Meeting the sitter first and seeing where he would be staying was really reassuring, and the communication and photos during the week were really lovely to receive. Would definitely use this service again!
Petstay made leaving our lovely Boy Phoenix behind a lot more less stressful and I felt totally confident that he was well cared for and look after. Our fur baby Cotton recently had a 2 night stay followed by a 2 week stay with the lovely Alice & Bernard while we were at a wedding and then away on holiday. We were so anxious about leaving her as this was the longest we had been apart and had never left her with anyone but family but Alice and Bernard were absolutely amazing! They provided daily updates including pics of what they had been up to, this provided the best possible peace of mind to see how happy and settled Cotton was with them and in their home. They really did love her and treat as their own allowing her all the same home comforts she is used to. We have already recommended this service to many and will use it again in the future - here’s cotton on one of many fun outings she had with Alice & Bernard ❤️
Charlie, our Cocker Spaniel, had a lovely holiday with Carol so we were able to have a lovely holiday too, without worrying about him. Carol sent us pictures and video so we could see he has having fun. He has been to Carol a couple of times and is happy to go to her and happy to come home - just as you would want it.
We left our two dogs with Ruth Ferry from Petstay. We were a bit anxious as we re-homed them 5-months ago. We need not have worried, Ruth and her Husband, Tam were amazing. Their love for dogs is palpable. Ruth kept us up to speed a few times a day and the dogs settled no bother. Would highly, highly recommend.
From original interview to day of collection after holiday Damian was professional and caring. whist we were away we got regular WhatsApp updates on our Puppy (well our little pony as we call her). We could tell she was well looked after and happy in her environment and walks. Can only say thankyou and will be happy to take her back for our next holiday which is longer in duration knowing she will be well cared for again.
We left our dog overnight for the first time ever with Liz and she was great, she reassured us sending us updates and photos. Bailey was treated as part of the family and had a great stay.
Just left Dexter for his first overnight with Gillian, I was totally at ease the whole night as I knew he was at a home from home, totally looked after by a dog loving family. Will definitely use this company again
Absolutely wonderful service. I would definitely use Petstay again, as I value personalised care of my dog. Nico stayed with Ralph and Valerie for 2 weeks and had a great holiday. They kept me updated every single day, which was very reassuring. I can’t recommend them enough.
Thanks to PetStay I feel I can now enjoy guilt free holidays knowing Humphrey is looked after in a home environment. He recently spent a lovely week with Sophia and her family, Sophia sent me daily updates, along with videos and photos, so I could see what a great time Humphrey was having, and how happy he was with them all. I would recommend PetStay to anyone who is looking for care for their dogs.
Our dog is reactive to other dogs, so I was a bit apprehensive about leaving him with someone who might not treat it as seriously as we do. I should not have worried, Carole was brilliant with him, took him out at quiet times when there were few dogs about and generally treated him as we would do. She gave us regular updates and we were relaxed and reassured that he was happy, relaxed and safe. Would we have him stay with her again? Absolutely - roll on October when she is free to have him again!! Thank you Carole ❤️❤️
