I've given 2 stars since, like a few people have commented, things started off fairly well with good communication. However, as the booked appointment time came closer a couple of re-books were made, and then at the final booked time there was a no show. This is a rented flat, and on the day of this final booking I received an invoice which I immediately paid, thinking that the booking had been completed as planned. I then received an email from the tenants telling me no-one had showed up. So I emailed to ask what was going on, and the tenants then received a call to advise when the engineer would turn up. Which they eventually did. Due to covid and working from home this thankfully didn't mess my tenants around, but doesn't change the poor professionalism. After the visit, I didn't receive an certificates, so after a week or so I emailed asking for them. No response. Another week or so later I chased again, and then received the certificates. I noticed that (despite giving a list of appliances needing testing, and telling them to only test my appliances, and not the tenants' items) that some of my items hadn't been included, and the tenants had. I emailed asking for clarification on this. No response. I emailed again a week or so later. Still no response. Very poor service and non-existent communication. Perhaps this 100% honest (can be backed up with emails) review will prompt a response and suitable resolution.

It is always a bit of a hassle having to get these certificates and I expect a hassled type response from LSC but don't get that at all (I fear they don't quite understand the severity of my plight as they remain cool, calm and professional). They just do the job, quickly, on time, cheapest around and never a problem. I'm waiting for them to branch out to psychotherapy.

Booked an appointment for gas & electrical safety certificates and was given an arrival time of between 08.00 & 12.00. Called in the morning to check all was ok and was told everything was on schedule. Called again for an update and re-assured someone would be with me by 12.00. 12.00 came and went so I called again and was told nobody would be with me until 15.00. I took the morning off work especially for this and was messed about with no communication.
This company was very helpful, arrived on time giving me plenty of time reminders, and then proceeded with a careful and professional assessment before providing me with a Gas Safety Certificate. I felt I was in good hands and they were very reasonably priced too.
Efficient, no fuss, professional, great value for money - £99 for a 2 bedroom house EICR rather than the ridiculous £400 quoted by my Managing Agents. The technician turned up at the allocated time... certificate sent to me later that very day.

Super responsive and overall a very good experience. Asked for a quote online and they gave one immediately. They also took care of the hassle of going to the estate agents to pick up the keys! The only comment was the engineer last minute rescheduled on the day the test was supposed to be carried out. Wasn’t a problem in my case but some advanced notice might be appreciated by others who may have taken the time off to grant access to the property. Still overall a fantastic experience!

Had a no show - I had travelled 20 miles to my property to ensure I provide access to the engineer, however had a no show on the day and phone kept going on voicemail. Disappointed.
