Dear Hunter Express, As you deliberately make it impossible for your "valued customers" to register issues through your website, I am using the only method of contact you provide. Contrary to what your website boasts, I have found your organisation to be anything but customer friendly. In regards to consignment CHPxxxxxxx: The disregard for other persons property on display by your organisation is not acceptable. 1.There is and was someone home at this address, the driver was too lazy to check, so the terms of the ATL have been breached 2. The parcel which weighs 30+kgs was left out on the street, ie, the driver couldn't even be bothered to take it onto the property, so again the terms of the ATL have been breached as the delivery was not left in a safe place, 3. The person who lives there (permanently on the property) is an invalid and there is no way she can carry/drag a 30+ kg parcel from the street to the house which is about 50 metres away, let alone drag it up stairs. This is not the first time we have had substandard service from your company. Pride in your work is clearly not part of the company motto. I will be passing this feedback onto the company we purchased the goods from.

Beware of Hunter Express – A Shady and Irresponsible Company! Last month, I received a delivery from Hunter Express, and their reckless driver demolished half of my sandstone wall in the driveway. Since then, I’ve made countless attempts to contact the company to address the damage and compensate me, but they have blatantly ignored my letters and multiple emails. Their complete disregard for responsibility is appalling. To make matters worse, when confronted, the driver claimed he didn’t even have a license! Miraculously, he "found" it only after I threatened to involve the police—highly suspicious behavior for a supposed professional delivery service. This company’s dishonest tactics and shady operations have now forced me to take legal action. I urge everyone: DO NOT trust Hunter Express with your deliveries. Their negligence, deception, and refusal to take accountability should be a massive red flag for anyone considering their services.

You pay to have a parcel delivered doesn't happen in griffith you have to go and pick it upfrom griffith freight.i only live 20 mins from town that's great service not

DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! Delivery 3 weeks late. Arrived yesterday with 2 of the 3 boxes, they had no idea where the 3rd box was. Took the 2 boxes back and stated can't leave if the order is not complete. I called them, they said they'd escalate to Manager and get them to call me and never heard anything. Called again today, they said the driver broke down and left us message - total lie, because I spoke to the driver myself. No message was received at all. 2 out of 3 items delivered today while I was on the phone to them (despite saying they couldn't do that yesterday!!! They hung up mid conversation while I was clarifying with the driver about the 3rd box. Now trying to say there is an issue with the scanning of the 3rd item and they will try to get delivered, but not sure how long that will take. Let's see how ling this takes. Very Poor Customer Service on the phone and blatantly lied to me to cover up. Asked to speak to a manager - they refuse to make contact with us. Have escalated to the Ombudsmen to get delivery fee back and potential compensation for missed client business as a result of poor service from them. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM! They'll damage your goods then deny you of any compensation. Packages go missing then appear weeks later, broken. Their response is pretty much 'Oh well, sucks to be you' because you didn't take all the special warranty which doesn't cover your goods anyway. The back of the delivery vans look like a bomb went off in there, fragile packages thrown all over the place, disgusting company.

Terrible bulk delivery service. Unable to receive delivery for 3 weeks despite weekly phone calls, and multiple phone calls on the day of the schedule delivery

This is the worst of the worst companies to ever use for any Delivery nationwide. They don’t know how to deliver and their drivers are incompetent. Do not use them whatsoever. You get your Delivery promise to you but three weeks later it hasn’t been delivered. The drivers don’t know what they’re doing so word of advice. Do not use these people.

Worst experience with a courier company in my life! Firstly, they lost part of the package (excuse - they only received 1 of 2 packages - not true, then the driver could not find my address (excuse - new driver), then they delivered half of the delivery after my constant harassing with phone calls (this time regular driver who was told the rest was already delivered - not true), finally after nearly 3 weeks - I have received the full delivery. PS Harry who was the regular drive was great and ensured that the final package was delivered first in his run - thanks Harry

I had a mattress delivered bought through BIGW on Sunday morning without warning. Driver just rang door bell and dumped it and ran off. I tried calling out to him to ask if he could help me bring it in as I have just had spinal surgery but he just shouted get a neighbour to help and drove off.

Absolutely unacceptable service. This company lost my pallet and offered no assistance whatsoever—zero. For an entire month, they showed no interest in resolving the issue and made no effort to locate it. Their staff was consistently arrogant and unprofessional, providing only scripted, meaningless responses. Instead of offering solutions, they accused me of being a nuisance and even threatened to block my number if I called again. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service is appalling. Avoid this company at all costs if you value your time, belongings, and respect

What a disgraceful company to deal with. They do not deliver to the address listed on the order or call the number listed in the order - they let the delivery Driver pick where is easiest to deliver weather its near you or not - When they make a mistake they wash their hands it and tell you to contact a different delivery company to collect it from where they LOST it and get it delivered to you. I have never dealt with such insincere people in my life!!!! If you want your goods delivered DO NOT USE these morons!!!

Wish I could give no stars. Absolutely incompetent company. I asked for my package to be left around the back of the house. I gave clear instructions. These instructions were not passed on to the delivery company. So now I have a package sitting at my front door over Christmas. When I rang, the girl was instantly combative and unpleasant. Even though I had proof of my clear instructions. Hopefully it is still there when I return home. I can see why this company has horrifically poor ratings. Sack the girl and get someone half decent. Also get onto your communication with other delivery companies so they can do their job. I will remember the name and will never use or recommend to anyone. Hopefully you will go bust Hunter Express so that people can get better service elsewhere.

Absolutely DISGUSTING service. Have been calling up about where my package is for the past week and every single day have been told "will be delivered today". Nevermind the fact the package is already an entire week overdue!!!!!!! FOUR TIMES we have seen our package returned to the depot because "no one was home to receive package". WE HAVE BEEN HOME ALL WEEK!!!!!! We live at the end of a cul-de-sac and there is NO WAY we have missed a truck coming up our street. There has been no attempt of delivery whatsoever and ZERO communication. Customer service is absolutely horrible as well and has provided no help to us, are extremely rude and just keep us running around in circles. I will never ever EVER be purchasing from a shop who uses hunter express again, absolutely disgusting. You'd think with all the horrible reviews they have they would at least try to be better to their customers!!

NO STARS Disgraceful company, should be ashamed of themselves and should delete their WOW statement off their website as it is false and misleading. Still waiting on final package to be delivered (two items split across four packages) that was expected between 5-10 December. Two boxes arrived 11th, third arrived 12th Dec. Tracking shows fourth box in depot (10 mins from my home) on 13th.. was out for delivery Monday 16th - no delivery. Rang Hunter Express and they advised they will send email updates on package. No email received and nothing in junk. Was scanned again for delivery on 17th @ 9.48am & said we were 17th in queue. At 1.53pm tracking showed we were 1st in queue for delivery. At 2.10pm the item was returned to the depot! Rang Hunter Express again and they advised it was out for delivery via a 3rd party agent. Contacted said party and were told the contract had been cancelled with Hunter Express. Contacted owner of said party who was actually able to tell me what other courier company our package was offloaded to. Contacted retailer where items were purchased from and they are also chasing it up. Called Hunter Express again to chase delivery and was told it was onboard for delivery alrhough it would be late in afternoon of the 18th, they said the driver attempted delivery on the 17th - LIES we live at the top end of a cul-de-sac and have been home every single day ALL DAY waiting for this package. The only truck that has come up this way since the 12th of December is the garbage bin truck. Even if we weren't home authority to leave package in safe place is noted on their tracking of our package. It is now the 19th and still no delivery. I understand it is a busy time of year however this is a disgrace - the packages came from Melbourne, went to Sydney then Lismore for delivery to Goonellabah, package then mysteriously went on a trip to Brisbane and back again to Lismore! And it still showing as sitting in depot!! And for some reason now that it is with ANOTHER courier company, they can't tell me where THAT depot is for us to go get it ourselves! Hunter Express claim they will contact you if delivery is delayed, then why has there been no contact whatsoever from Hunter Express, we have had to chase them for details????

I received an email today just before 11am to advise a delivery was on its way. I work from home, I have not left my house and I have now received a message at 9pm saying the driver tried to deliver it but couldn’t and left a card behind. There is no card and I had authorised delivery without a signature regardless. There is bad rain in our area at the moment which I would understand could have delayed the delivery but this is not what you have advised. If my order cannot be delivered at least be honest but don’t send a generic message advising delivery has been attempted. If your driver did attempt the delivery do your drivers alert people that they are at the house? No one knocked or called or texted me.

Tracked my order and it stated no parking available when I live on a main road with parking 5mtrs from my house. Sent on line message, no reply. Went to warehouse where I was told my package was with another company. Guy told me I will look into this ASAP and get back to you, never did. Eventually had to drive 30 min and pick up it my self after spending $67 for delivery. Give this company a wide birth.disgraceful

Had so many bad experiences with this company. At present my order has been sat in some depot for 4 days and won’t arrive on time . The seller Edison’s are just as bad . Don’t use Hunter Express or Edison’s is my advice.

Just the most amazingly incompetent delivery company in Australia. Ordered ten large packages from Temple & Webster and they failed to properly scan them on their way from Melbourne to Sydney to Gosford to Newcastle subsequently losing one of the packages. That was ok if they could have solved the problem. However they have no idea how to communicate or fix problems, time and again telling me to wait 48 hours for their warehouse or third party transport company to get back to them. Eventually spoke to their third party transport company (Roadchill) who were fantastic and told me within minutes what the issue was. I cancelled my order with Temple and Webster and now hopefully Hunter Express gets to transport everything back to Melbourne. Though I suspect they won’t know or care.

Terrible Service – Avoid at All Costs! I have had an appalling experience with this company. My goods have been with them for over two weeks and are still not delivered! The customer service has been beyond unacceptable. One representative, Nicky, was extremely rude, condescending, and unprofessional. She refused to listen, shouted at me, and even hung up the phone on two separate occasions. To make matters worse, they attempted delivery to a business address on a Sunday, despite clear instructions that it needed to be on a weekday during office hours. The driver even had the audacity to ask if he could leave expensive furniture unattended in a “safe place”—on the street?! This level of incompetence and disregard for customer instructions is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs!
