The driver was 4 days late to eventually show up & collect the item from front door. When delivered to the buyer, the well-packaged parcel's content was destroyed. It couldn't happen if not being thrown so many times during transit. The Hunter Express / E-go service is ridiculous. They treated your consignments like dirt and managed to ruin most things you send. Avoid this company at ALL COST. You have been warned.
Absolutely pathetic. My delivery (which is already delayed) has sat around for 4 days without moving and without updates. The customer service staff are not able to provide any insight into why my delivery is extremely delayed and no ETA. I had other packages dispatched on the same day, and they have all arrived over a week ago due to them being delivered by Australia Post. Hunter express needs to sort themselves out.
My consignment arrived exactly as stated on the company's tracking page. I was impressed how easy it was to track the package from pick-up to delivery, and the accuracy of the location. It arrived in perfect condition, undamaged. The driver was exceptionally courteous, and very helpful, carrying the 3 heavy boxes inside. If only all packages we have ever ordered online arrived the same. Will definately use their services, personally, in the future.
Please read and you will save yourself grief and disappointment engaging Hunter Express Couriers. They are the most incompetent business I have ever dealt with. The absent of a tracking system along with their staff whom have no interest or care where your parcel is. Customer Service is zero. I was to have a parcel delivered on the 9th July 2024, its now the 29th July 2024, and after many emails, phone calls they can shed no light on where my parcel is. I asked to have a Managers email or phone number which they could not supply me with, this business should not be operating and further more I really dont know how they are. Their tracking service does not work nor is it ever updated, it is non existant. I would not even give them one star unless it was possible to substact the stars which then I would give many.
Zero stars honestly Pathetic drivers who can't deliver items to correct address. Zero customer service, rude staff. They don't want to hear obviously coz they maybe receiving phonecalls everyday from customers complaining about their orders as their drivers aren't reliable.
Terrible customer service when trying to locate an item, Tso the operator was so bland and rude no help or wanting to help at all just reads a script. what happened to customer service. They send an item hours away to the wrong place, and its the customers fault that we want answer. horrible horrible no sense of peoples property. Can't talk to a manager, then tells lies on the phone and contradicts herself. get your staff training
Wouldnt use this POS company, 2 boxes are in the depot of my town the other was lost now found in Newcastle but has to go back to Sydney to be delivered to tamworth which is 2.5 hours from Newcastle, now have been told it will go back to Sydney then back through Newcastle on route to tamworth, like wt actual hell.
I had multiple experiences with Hunter Express. They don't deliver to the stipulated address, they have never responded to any correspondence through their online website form and they never provided any communication regarding the delivery of products. No phone calls, texts. Careless, lazy and lacking responsibility. If you need something delivered, choose a different courier.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!! Have been waiting on a parcel which has been in there warehouse for 3 weeks 80kms away, customer service dont care!!!!! keep stating to check the tracking They dont have a complaints department or you cant even speak with the warehouse direct They are a joke, i have deliveries everyday & no issues except for this company
Terrible Service, collected our cargo 2 weeks ago and still calling each day to get info on when this will actually get delivered to the customer. Call center staff are VERY rude and will tell you anything to get you off the phone. I will never use Hunter Freight aver again and will pass on this info to all other customers. 2 weeks to have a small pallet delivered from Sydney to Sydney is ridiculous!! Highly recommend not using Hunter ever!!
97% of the time deliveries are done on time with no issue. 3% either go missing or are delayed but that happens with most bulky freight couriers. Generally a good experience using them.
DO NOT USE THEM,SENT A LARGE BOX FROM MELBOURNE TO SYDNEY,TURNED UP TOTALLY WET WITH WATER POURING OUT OF THE BOX WHEN DELIVERED
Communication lack of, parcel delivery what a joke, was to be delivered to Geelong from Sydney via Perth, three weeks wait so far, and still counting.
I would give minus if possible. Parcel was sent from Sydney to Melbourne. It is almost a month and not yet delivered. I have called the customer service multiple times with no definite answer on delivery date. My parcel has travelled across Australia.
Not deliver when they said I asked if I could pick it up they said it would take a week extra if I wanted that and it would be delivered on Tuesday well here we are not getting a delivery on Tuesday! Then excuses of back logs well I don’t care you’ve lied to me and over promised under delivered. I agree if I could give them minus stars I would cause they don’t even deserve the no stars -5 starts for this waste of time company!
Words cannot express how bad the customer service I just received was. Clearly those working in the call centre must be under a lot of pressure to be so rude, or simply don't care. But my experience on the phone today was truly awful!
I ordered 2 Recliner chairs online. When I tracked my shipment arrived in Sydney, I called to ask when delivery will be so I can make arrangements to be at home when it comes. Customer Service (CS) told me they do not as a policy guarantee when delivery will take place. I then wrote to request a delivery date noting that I will be away on holidays which seemed fair at the time. Request was acknowledged. When the day came, I called to confirm, the answer given was a rude "Not today", told "this conversation is finished" and then hung up on me. Delivery not done at time of this writing. No obvious effort to find a solution to the issue as would be expected from a "Customer Service team".
If I could give this company no stars i would. Spoke to two customer service people, Nicky and Shelley and both were so rude. Would not assist in anyway possibly, and when i asked to speak to a manager, Shelley said there was no managers currently available and when i said i'd hold, she hung up. Nicky said there were no managers at all in. No customer service what so ever. I had prepaid for a pick up by them, which their driver refused to get, as there were trucks ahead of him waiting. Richard Tesoriero, you should take a serious look at how your drivers and staff speak to your corporate clients
I was at home on the day they delivered the consignment, but no one rang my doorbell. They came to my property five times without prior arrangement and refused to contact me when they were outside. They never called to schedule a redelivery date but simply redelivered whenever they wanted. How can I receive my consignment like this? I called the customer service team, but they hung up on me twice while I was still talking. Even the manager did the same. They did not I was at home on the day they delivered the consignment, but no one rang my phone. They came to my property five times without prior arrangement and refused to contact me when they were outside. They never called to schedule a redelivery date but simply redelivered whenever they wanted. How can I receive my consignment like this? I called the customer service team, but they hung up on me twice while I was still talking. Even the manager did the same. They did not apologize but blamed me for wasting their money on five redelivery attempts. I buy a lot online and did not know what was in the consignment. When someone finally called me, I confirmed if it was okay to throw the package over the fence, and the lady said it was. However, the customer service team later told me it was too heavy to throw over the fence. If you knew it was heavy, why did you agree to my instruction and continue with redeliveries without contacting me for alternative arrangements? Why didn’t you ask me for a date when someone would be home? I didn’t know the redelivery dates or when the driver was outside! I will never receive any consignment from Hunter Express again, even if I am at home on the delivery day. This is a rubbish company with rubbish customer service! I look forward to seeing this company go out of business.
If you are having furniture delivered by Hunter Express - BEWARE. Their drivers do not go through doors - literally. The closest I could get the driver to place the four heavy boxes containing a bed was outside the front door. When I asked why he couldn’t put it inside he said, “we’re the cheapest couriers, that’s our policy.” There was no way I could lift those boxes myself so I then had to find someone to help me. The only reason that I can see companies use this courier is to make money on delivery costs. If this is the way customer service is going in this country we are in big trouble!
