Took forever to get to Brisbane, then it sat in their warehouse for 7 days waiting for processing. It then got on the truck for delivery at estimated time of delivery keep on changing. Terrible service, worst freight company Ive ever dealt with. They need to shut down, go out of business and never come back!!!
The delivery was 2 days past the estimated time. The 'gentleman' that turned up, took a photo of the front of the building and drove off. It was raining. He didn't knock or ring the doorbell. I walked to the front door and eyeballed him. He looked away and drove off. The 132252 phone number is an endless loop that isn't answered. Don't deal with this lot.
Unreliable and useless! Do not use this company. I have been waiting 2 weeks for my delivery. Obviously my item is big and heavy and no one wants to deliver it. Pathetic!

Absolutely dreadful!! I ordered a rug which said 3-5 business days. It’s been 3 weeks and the tracking number says it been in the depot in Rockhampton for the last two weeks (30 mins down the road). As the end user you don’t seem to be able to contact HE to see what the hold up is that has to be done by the sender. The sender say they are waiting on an update from HE (via email). Would not recommend!!!
After navigating the phone answering system to get to speak to a human I was told that my item would be delivered three weeks after I ordered it. They said that the company had booked the pick up date. What they failed to say was that they had missed the pick up time and had rescheduled to pick it up 2 weeks later. This item cost over $100 shipping so completely unsatisfactory - a joke in fact. Luckily the company cancelled and used another shipping co.
They took a month to do an "express" delivery from Melbourne to Perth. It sat in the Perth depot for 2 weeks. The driver should not ever be in any customer facing or public interaction jobs, ever. Absolutely lost their mind, abused and swore at the person trying to accept delivery because they were taking photos of the severely damaged packaging, he decided to then *take* the packages away and tried to say the delivery was rejected, it wasn't. The whole interaction was captured on security cameras. The driver is a liar and volatile, threatening people, bullying and taking the phone from the person trying to take photos is completely unacceptable, they're lucky the police weren't involved.
Hunter express are rubbish. They promise but DONT deliver. They make excuses. They told me they couldn’t deliver due to traffic. There is no traffic problem where I live. I am still waiting for a delivery
Despite all the negative comments....and there are quite a few...my experience with Hunter Express was first class. No issues, delivered earlier than promised with up to date notifications. Thank you
They're holding onto a package and have said flat out they won't rebook it. I can't be home all day waiting for the driver to eventually show up due to work, and they refuse to deliver in the afternoon. Use a different courier.
If Only I could give them zero, the driver was freaking lier piece of crap, first of showed without a prior notice or no communication of delivery plus I wasn't home, two big boxes left outside which are 22KG each, the driver called to advise that he left the boxes outside when I told him my wife will open the door and just put them inside the property, the driver then changed his statement saying that I left, when he clearly told me earlier that he is just there, unfortunately this was a company the seller on ebay chose to do business with, these clowns shouldn't be allowed to operate a delivery business.
If i could give Zero for customer service I would. We booked a parcel to be picked up on the Monday, they didn't show up. Was told they would be there Tuesday around 3.17pm - again no show - the driver is unable to pick up again. Was advised it might be easier if we dropped at the depot. When I asked her if she could please hold a moment as I needed to check that this would be ok and my office phone was calling she said NO and hung up the phone!! So hopefully if we get it too the depot it will reach our customer. Would NOT recommend this company ever!!
I am stupefied by their abject ineptitude. How can a parcel be in transit for a month when it is just a 5 minute drive away? Why does nobody answer the phone? Why does nobody reply to any messages? Does anybody actually work there? I refuse to ever buy anything again from a business that uses these morons for shipping. Inadequate, unprofessional and desperately incompetent.
Unfortunately drawn into this one as eBay seller picked this company. I then got lumbered with dealing with these clowns. Worst communication ever, completely wrong information shown on tracking screen, of which they kept trying to resolve. Complete incompetents and I gave up expecting any form on sensible communications. They kept saying that I had to raise a new item but would not provide a link to this. Then, they kept saying that all correspondence was in the new item, of which I could not find nor would they provide a link. Items eventually arrived, after sitting in their local warehouse for 8 days. Absolute garbage, never ever again.
Can't complain as they did get back to me on the emails I sent and asked them to deliver asap wanted it By Friday .. wasnt aware that the delivery wasnt in perth by the 20th as stated on the delivery day. Also it was on a truck from Melbourne to Perth. Not flown over. Customer service needs to improve.let the customer know what's delaying the consignment. And delivery day was today with no notification. LUCKY I was HOME. But can't complain as it got here in record time on the Monday. The driver was very unsociable. Needs a lesson in being cheerful when delivering.
Like 99% of other hunter express customers, my 1st (and last) experience with them has been a disaster from start to whenever (if ever) I receive my goods. Now that I know about this co, the next time I want to purchase something from an online store, I will be telling them under no circumstance are they to allow hunter express to 'deliver' my goods. If they cant do this, then I will tell them sorry but I will need to take my business elsewhere. If we ALL START DOING THIS ONE SMALL THING before we purchase something online , hunter express will either fix their pathetic systems or go out of business. Either way will be a win for customers who rely on them - either a store owner or someone like us buying online. Don't let them get away with this any longer.
They were meant to deliver a TV unit and buffet... they delivered the tv unit and they said buffet was arriving next few days almost 6 weeks later NOTHING.. The driver had damaged first buffet got sent back for a replacement... and it got re sent out but they attempted delivery but to the wrong address .. also have called over 4 times and have been hung up on!!! and told the shortage of drivers!!! STILL WAITING on my delivery!!!
Over 4 hours on hold and still no answer, I’m not entirely sure how this company is even still operational. The absolute WORST transport company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. DO NOT USE HUNTER EXPRESS as they will take your money and not deliver the goods.
