FAQs
I was advised by our on site grounds maintenance team to contact Greenbelt regarding an on going issue i had with the maintenance on site. I found them to be very helpful with my query and although i was incorect in my assumption they helped me understand the obligation they have to work in line with Landscape plans set out at the planning stage. That said they were happy to meet in the middle and were very helpful resolving the issue.
Professional company, polite communicators. Compared to many management companies, they truly care about bringing development to a better standard for parks and open spaces.
A dedicated team, who really know there stuff!!
A very knowledgeable team with a practical understanding of horticulture and sustainable management.
Phone answered promptly. Very helpful and efficient dealing with my query
Phoned customer service today and the matter was dealt with really quickly. Very efficient and friendly customer service. Would highly recommend
I contacted greenbelt to raise concerns about a tree on the maintenance area. David Condon was really helpful and explained who he would be contacting and when regarding the tree. No fuss, straight forward help.
The present greenbelt system automatically initiates a non-payment process, which may not accurately reflect certain payment scenarios. I propose that the option of correspondence be sent via email to facilitate payment completion instead of issuing intimidating 7-day notices. Additionally, it is highly unlikely that Greenbelt possesses a signed contract.
Really helpful customer service billing guy with a nice manner.
Charged £52 for admin alone this year, massive increase year on year been told everyone has to pay the same, the detailed line on bill does not say it is a shared charge, I asked for a breakdown of admin costs and I was informed it is for paper bills etc. I informed Greenbelt I was already paperless and that you charge customers for their paper bill in addition anyway. Its a total con as the work is sub contracted out and very little seems to be done in the area. I think the powers that be need to intervene and remove this charge for everyone, as it is quite obviously immoral.
I thought I would read some reviews to see if Greenbelt have improved and came across this quote from a Greenbelt employer from May: "Over the previous 5 years the annual management charge has only increased 5%. This period includes a time when inflation peaked at 9%." I'm not sure who is doing the calculations at Greenbelt. In 2019 our admin fee was £38 and in 2022 it had jumped to £47. That 7% compound interest, each year, every year. Inflation "peaking" at 9% one year in the five does not explain the previous inflation rates which are far below 5%. This is just distortion of statistics, or for want of a better word, lies.
Always a great service, great guys and do a top job. Since these guys have taken over, lawns looking lush.
Since 2016 they have raised my bill by more than double the rate of inflation. The appearance of the kept area is significantly worse.
Really helpful & set up a direct debit for us
Gentleman I spoke to, listened to the issue causing me concern, about my property and offered solutions I was pleased to accept. Accurate emails regarding the conversation have been sent to me.
I live on a small new build estate and Greenbelt own and apparently "manage" an area of land which none of the residents have access to. We each pay an annual fee. Recently we were all informed of work to be carried out and what we would be charged for this. The charges are extortionate and we have found a local contractor to do the work for half the price. Despite huge amounts of emails from myself and other residents they refuse to allow the local contractor to undertake the work as he doesn't meet their PQQ, they say he can apply for future works and that they will be going ahead regardless. They won't let us see the quote they are using despite many requests and the fact that we are expected to pay this in addition to our annual fee. They won't give an honest answer as to where the contractor doing the job is coming from (other than somewhere in the South West of England. We are in South Devon, so this could be anywhere from Gloucester to Cornwall!) This company can basically call the shots and do. They own the land and charge US to maintain it, so have no regard for how much anything costs as they aren't paying. They don't support the local economy, they are based in Scotland so why on earth would they. I have read so many terrible reviews of this company and my own experience has been appalling. I have read hundreds of other negative reviews, there was an article in the Guardian about the issues a while back and there is a residents Face Book page with thousands of people on and yet it seems they are unregulated and can do exactly as they please. I wish I could give them no stars.
It was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Thank you.
My whole experience with greenbelt was excellent. Adam went above and beyond and helped me massively months later after my initial house sale fell through. He responded so quickly and resolved all queries asked. Thank you so much for everything.
My initial experience around being unable to speak to someone out of working hours to set up a direct debit was frustrating. However after I was able to take time out of work and actually spoke to someone he was very helpful and got the matter sorted
Referred my bill to a debt collection unit. Did not see the bill due to being out of the country, paid it yesterday, with a late charge. Wasn't good enough as today it had already been referred to a debt collection agency. Dw I will be VERY diligent at ensuring I am on top of my bill moving forward, as well as ensuring you provide proof and receipts for everything you are billing me for. Who behaves like this in this economy? Especially as a legacy monopoly. If this continues perhaps the residents will look for a new provider of greenbelt services.
