If I could give no stars, I would. 71% hike in this year's costs, but unable to answer simple questions. Get blanket copy and paste replies. Why should residents pay over 2k to have trees planted to the developers spec? Shouldn't the developer have been billed for this? Even copied the MD into emails now, still no reply. I'm sure they will be quick to tell me I'm late making a payment though! Really are the lowest of the low, gutter scutters.
Beth Westlake has been extremely helpful and dealt with queries promptly. We are in the process of selling our house and Greenbelt manage the grounds. Unfortunately our buyers’ solicitors have been awkward in asking unnecessary questions. This has meant involving Greenbelt more than required but despite this Beth has gone above and beyond. We have appreciated her help.

Phone all answered quickly. David noticed that I’d made the same complaint a year ago so understood the problem. He passed it on to the next stage there and then. Hopefully it will be dealt with and resolved as last year as it is an annual problem.
Over priced. Never stick to the contract or schedule. When they turn up never complete the work required. Utter shambles of an organisation.
Stacey (Billing Supervisor) was fantastic on the phone just now. I hadn't received an email containing my 2024 bill and then received an Overdue Account letter in the post, which had a late fee attached. Stacey was understanding and agreed to waive the late fee before setting up a direct debit with 10 annual payments instead of one lump sum. Very fast, efficient, and friendly service.
Monopoly, Our estate, buiot by Persimmon in East Lothian around 2005 had fringes of kand that were sold to Greenbelt for a nominal sum. They are our factor ( gave been for 20yrs coming up for). Because they own the land, we cant get rid of them if we're unsatisfied with the service or pricing. If this isn't a monopoly, I don't know what is. I've refused to pay them for the laat 19 years as I don't agree with the whole setup. They also think they have the right to add late fees. Im currently selling my house and they're trying to stop the sale until I pay them using Potential Note Of Liability against any potential new owners. unsurprisingly, potential buyers are put off by this. Greenbelt also threaten to tell mortgage providers or landlords etc that they've not been paid. Lots of people have had tgeir burdens removed and quite rightly so. Put simply, its a scam

I have a strip of land belonging to greenbelt, running along mine and neighbours back gardens. Greenbelt decided to plant Oak trees and other large trees close to our homes. Yes over twenty four years these are now enormous , and large branches cover half our gardens, and large roots on surface of my lawn. Greenbelts response get a firm to trim branches, as they won’t do the work, even though it’s there land and trees. Who in there right mind would plant trees so close to homes . Greenbelt take money for very little work, no helpful . As per every reply by Greenbelt, bulk standard answe from a very busy Amy !!!’
