I have paid my Greenbelt Tax for six years now. In that six years i have witnesses the grass near my house being cut once, and believe me, that is no exaggeration. I have emails back to 2021 asking about this issue, the other side of the bank is cut all the time. I have constantly emailed and sent photos, all i get is an email now and again saying that they will ask the contractors to do this, yet here we are, still overgrown and in a mess! Am i officially allowed to refuse to pay my Greenbelt if they are not actually doing any of the upkeep? I will certainly be looking into this before the next year. I will also be contacting Greenbelt Group to ask for a full run down of what my money was spent on this last year. As personally, i haven't seen anything.... It's a lot of money to pay out each year, and all i want is the grass cut! Haha ... P.S: Date of experience? The last six years!!!

This company are the biggest rip off merchants ever. They constantly increase their charges. Where we live they don't cut the grass outside our house, there are no bins or dog poo bins. Another estate in Tavistock pay half of what we pay and have dog poo bins. Even our solicitor when we bought our house said Greenbelt were the biggest scam going. I don't understand how they are getting away with it, it's disgusting- £35 a month for a few trees. This company is the definition of rip off Britain.

Greenbelt took over managing our estate from the beginning of this year. The first contact with the group was with Nick Upton the customer liaison officer who introduced himself and the contractor who will be managing our estate. They seemed very approachable and friendly and explained about how things will run. I have to say that our estate has been kept clean, tidy and well maintained ever since Greenbelt took over as before that certain areas were in a poor condition. I approached Greenbelt as during the initial meeting it was mentioned that they try to give something back to the communities they manage. Greenbelt have kindly offered financial help for the older residents in the village as they are supporting the annual fish and chip supper. Without their donation we would have really struggled to do this at Christmas. I have found Nick Upton from Greenbelt to be approachable and friendly. The Greenbelt team are doing a good job around our estate and for our local community.

Emails are being ignored. Residents in Stockport received information that they would be charged for putting dog foul in bins. The bins have no signs, have never had signs, and have been used for dog foul by the general public for 4 years. The latest scam? Charging residents to install signs that should have been installed prior to handover from Bellway (but which were not checked in the handover by Greenbelt). We, as an estate, have been left with no recourse but to contact our local council’s planning permission and to investigate our legal options. We have tried raising this with Greenbelt, but are routinely ignored.

Huge thanks to Nick and the team for contributing to our Community Event. Their support for our event was very much welcomed and the kids in our area had a fantastic time. Thanks everyone! Coolnagard Community Association.

I have never come across such an evasive company as Greenbelt. Is it a deliberate ploy to send 96 pdfs of costs incurred of which almost all totally redacted and claim you are protecting senistive commercial information? What is difficult in supplying proof of the costs incurred to a specific estate? Why have you not insisted your contractors supply invoices specific to each estate? You could still have a summary so your accounts department would not incurr additional workload. Your reluctance to be transparent in invoicing leads me to the belief there are hidden charges. Transparency would remove such feelings. Please do not provide a "canned" anwser. Try 'phoning, emailing, and deal with the issue with the person you expect to shell out each year.

I note your latest inflation busting annual charge increase of 7% for our estate, following last year's hefty 14% increase. You really are very generous to yourselves when deciding your own fee increases, double the inflation rate in our case (over the last billing period inflation fell from 5% to 2%). I wonder if you could be bothered to send our Residents Association a copy of the 12-month breakdown of work for the last billing period? It is somewhat disappointing that I have to beg for this information every year. As bill payers we might hope that the annual £60 admin fee per property might cover at least one courtesy email to our Residents Association per annum, but we are obviously just a tedious inconvenience for Greenbelt. I also note in the latest invoice that you have given up the claim that you perform a monthly site inspection, and it is now called “monthly site management”.

From the point the call was answered to Jeanette to the time I was out through to Robbie, I was treated with care and professionalism and my query was resolved with no fuss. Robbie went over and beyond to provide additional necessary information relating to my account of which I was extremely greatful.

Nick came out in the pouring rain to greet us and to give residents an overview of what to expect including service, maintenance, payment options etc. all residents were given the opportunity in turn to ask questions and he took away any queries he wasn’t able to answer. Very helpful.

Worst company you'll ever deal with, bills rise every year, random charges added. When asked for invoices to explain massive rises, they sent invoices with amounts blanked out. Disgusting company, all you have to do is put their name into Google or Facebook and find thousands of unhappy customers!! Update to your reply You have clearly just proved my point. You can't give invoice amounts for particular developments. The evidence you sent was invoices with the amounts blanked out. Which means you can't prove what each development is paying for. It also means no one can question your unjustified prices rises year on year......... most immoral, scammers you'll ever come across........

The Friends of Wollescote Park enjoyed meeting the Greenbelt Team at the Green Flag award ceremony in July 2024. Ideas were discussed and excellent advice given, together with a financial contribution. This will allow our Group to achieve our goals. Thank you.
