Findmypast is a homegrown family history company that helps people discover their origins. It started in the UK but now has millions of customers around the world, who use its family records to trace ancestors, build family trees and contact distant relatives.
Really good search tool features compared to other similar sites. Very easy to find information and helpful record hints. 1921 data available which is a great help and unique to Findmypast. Access to UK newspapers as well as the 1939 register makes researching a much better experience. There's nothing to dislike.

Nice that they occasionally give access to some records that are not necessarily in your package..ie 1921 census this weekend

I find it hard to find someone to many things to be asked and it doesn’t bring up siblings that you would think once you have found parents would auto be seen

The free hints for Remembrance Day boosted my tree by 10 people. This was a really good idea on Findmypast's part. However, I wish this would happen more often, as I am not prepared to pay for this information. Overall, it's a good website.

In my opinion, find my past has a lot of options to search so many avenues. Entries are transcribed. I would like to see the entire page of the newspaper, as it was in the trial at the beginning of the Griffiths boys search.
The most comprehensive genealogy site I’ve come across. Although not cheap, I consider the subscription excellent value. It’s enabled the mapping of 5+ generations of multiple family lines in a surprisingly short time.
The information is very good but I feel the charges are expensive unless you are able to spend significant time to undertake research.
