Really enjoyed using the site, found some interesting information on my father’s family. I did find sometimes difficulty in returning to the family tree that I created.

Had to find my dad in the 1921 Census which I did, though the surname was spelt completely wrong (Bredes) by the transcriber (as is the way) I still found him via his address, I suggested a correction which I hope they will do.

I have tried this during the free opportunity and it’s found answers not found on any other Ancestry sites

This site was supposed to be free over last weekend but every time I tried to find someone I had to sign in to a monthly subscription, which I did not do.

some of the so-called hints are way of the mark mixing father's name with son then putting father's name in place of mother's. also maiden names mixed up with married name . access to information on the whole is good, just can't trust it .

Very hard to manoeuvre. Tried to find military records but was unable to. Extremely difficult website

Great free weekend. I will definitely be looking to subscribe in the near future.

When it works it's OK, however it seems far too flaky, lots of time outs and bad gateway messages, maybe that was because it was a free trial weekend, even so it should have been anticipated.

In a couple of hours, I’ve managed to trace my family tree back to early1800 with links back to the late 1700 that I still need to cross reference and verify. I was so excited to find the page in a local paper showing my parents wedding. I was able to show my 95 year old father. He’d never seen it and his face was a picture. I’m looking forward to seeing what else I can find to make him smile. Thank you Findmypast

Very expensive for the information that's available, Also the website can sometimes be slow and fail to load pages properly especially in the evening

Overall very good, but found it difficult to erase mistakes.

I think it's so confusing after the search at the bottom it says 1 result but when you click on that link it comes up no result, I must have spent 2 hours trying to find my person on 1891-1901-1911.census and thay didn't show and I know that they are there but it did not show them.

Excellent information and easy to find

Good to be able to access some records free for a short time, but found to be very limited access and a lot of having to start searches again, rather than easily click back and forth between previous searches and records. May have been because I was searching on iPhone and not table-top computer.

Content is great but I find selective searches are still quite broad in interpretation
