I only have experience with the free weekend, l found it frustrating, as you could only see very little, it seems there may be plenty to uncover , but unable to see what there is unless you pay a lot of money ☹️I would have loved to looked deaper , if it was less money. Free 7days was on offer, if you put bank details in , but l m not comfortable with that , maybe l will save up , and join one day, as an adoptee l would love to see what l could find .
Asking to subscribe time after time. Give you a hint and then ask for subscription You don't actually get told how much information you are able to get! So you could subscribe get a little snippet and then get asked for more money !!
I enjoyed tracing my Father’s history but found it frustrating that not all census were available (1931) and I would have liked to go back earlier but I did enjoy it.
Good response times and information supplied. Happy with your company's archival information.
Good tip: don’t send emails to people at near one in the morning
Great records
Great site for looking up the past but a bit expensive for the ordinary person especially with the economy pressure at this present time
Some hints but nothing for my family.
Something that is both fascinating and at times totally absorbing. To get the most from this “hobby” is a clear element of free time to give to exploring your family tree and researching their histories. This site is supportive and provides hints. Can become a labour of love. Time seems to stand still during your engagement with this site and suddenly you are in the eighteenth century.
Very poor results
Not been a hoid experience said look for free but didn't get much info
I did a little searching recently during a free access weekend. Rather disappointed that searching births and marriages the only sources I found were the printed pages rather than the original certificates. Viewing the 1921 census were nice though. I have a subscription with another company and don’t think I could be persuaded to change.
they showed where the person came from on the map
Too Expensive.
Have found about my family members
Show actual census, the transposition is inaccurate! Don't like monopoly situations either.
Do you have a searchable list of which parishes and dates covered , if not this would be very helpful.
I thought it was quite good but expensive
Charged £199 pounds even though we cancelled 2 days before and have a e mail to confirm this
Good site to use
