Easy to navigate. Great at storing documents, photos etc. Hints are very helpful. When I needed help my enquiry was promptly and effectively dealt with. Initially being able to create a Family Tree without having to pay was much appreciated. Thank you.
Reasonably easy to navigate the website. Search facility isn't very specific and unless you manage to take advantage of the free use weekends can be very expensive. WW1 records although extensive do not contain all ' burnt records', which unfortunately is where many of my interests are
It was great having free access to records over armistice weekend. I managed t9 f8nd photos of relatives for who we thought no photos existed - it was quite special putting a face to a name.
I had the information I saw , but great to confirm I was on the correct path thank you
Not very accurate
I didn't find anything I had not already found via other platforms including Ancestry, My Heritage and Family Search.
Having used Ancestry, FMP seems more user friendly
Easy to use the site. Great to have a free offer for a week. Thank you.
I really appreciate that I was able to get full access free for a while to find information about my family.
FREE ACCESS TO THE 1921 CENSUS
Nice to be able to look up ancestors.
Easy to understand
Great website easy to use and it brings up interesting facts and hints for review, which makes it easier to build your family tree.
Just needed a few days and found most info that I needed too.
Thank you for allowing a free period. We've decided to join after Christmas.
I like the continuous search engine doing unique tasks while I’m away doing other things. I get email updates of the findings.
Findmypast is user friendly and the Census records are most helpful! The only thing that I found disappointing was the South African records, I found very little information about my South African family members.
The app and website are very clunky and unreliable and regularly crash or don’t take you back to where you want to go.
A lot of good documents and records including the 1921 census and newspapers. I used the 3 day free trial in November but to subscribe seems expensive. I did find it slightly more difficult to navigate than Ancestry but that could be lack of familiarity.
The records were easy to find. And lots of useful information.
