As someone who suffers from an overactive pelvic floor and has had lots of pelvic floor therapy, I am loving this program which gives similar to identical exercizes I was given by my therapist! I’m four days into the program and my pelvic floor feels so much stronger already. I am loving the program and the instructors so much already.
Awesome workouts! I love the Guided Paths that I can fit into my busy schedule - I usually squeeze in 10-20 minutes between meetings from my home office. Since having my son in early 2020, I hadn’t properly treated my DR because, let’s face it, pandemic parenting is no walk in the park! My body is already feeling better and it has been so reassuring to have a program tailored specifically to the special needs of postpartum moms.
Targeted exercises and the ideal structure to integrate into daily life. I had v severe DR to begin with and at nearly the end of 3 months I'm not healed but have seen loads of improvements in terms of the severity of my DR, my general posture and alignment, muscle niggles and habitual pains are easing and body just feels stronger and closer to recovery. Will prob take me another 3 months to get to where I hope to, but that's ok. Requires a bit of commitment in terms of carving out daily time for the exercises, but I believe it's worth it. Only annoying thing is the 'village' community space within the site is not searchable as far as I can tell, so you can't get to the content you need. I was wanting at several points to see if others were experiencing the same rate of progress or frustrations as I was but I couldn't. You'd have to trawl through endless threads which feels pretty old-fashioned these days. But apart from that (and it might be me missing sthg) the core exercise and rehab program is top notch.
I generally really like the Every Mother program. I love that the workouts are short but efficient and require minimal setting up. Perfect for moms The app is clunky and not intuitive though. I also find a few other instructors difficult to follow - they either talk too fast or say a lot of instructions that are unclear. Makes it difficult to follow especially if you're doing a workout for the first time. One example is the yoga instructor.
EM has really helped me reduce my ab separation, 5 years since my last baby (!)
Great program with real results
My DR was totally healed. I love how all the exercises focus on strengthening and using my core. It's worth every penny!
Really good workout plan. Very clear and easy to follow. Helped me recover from distasis successfully. Really recommend
This program can’t offer you any refund, pause in membership, or any alternative if you get injured and can’t participate during the time you’ve paid for.
Fantastic course. Very easy for someone like me who finds it nearly impossible to get 20 minutes alone. I found I didn't have most of the props needed though wich made following the program challenging at times.
I feel better than every going into my third pregnancy. I can feel the syrength of my core building and solidifying while my body gets ready to bring another life in the world with g-d's help. This workout is a perfect fit and I can feel co fident I wont put me or my baby at risk and I still break a sweat !
I love the app very user friendly. The workouts are always just right! I’ve noticed my core is definitely becoming stronger while pregnant! And I have so much less back pain.
Easy to use and easy to fit into my busy schedule with my kids at home.
Loving Every Mother. Using the app to get my through my third trimester of pregnancy and plan to use again after my delivery one I get the clear from the MD. Very easy and simple to use. My only complaint is that it is a little repetitive but still enjoy the difference it makes for my abs.
I love using this app. It has helped me get started on my fitness journey after my first baby. The workouts so far are a maximum of 20 mins in length and very effective. There is also an extremely supportive every mother community that helps to keep me motivated. I would recommend this app to anyone looking to safely get healthier and stronger post baby.
I love this program. It is so easy to use, motivating, and has workouts for all fitness levels. As someone who had diastasis recti, and struggles with pelvic floor issues, this is the perfect program for me! So many of the things my physical therapist wants me to do are built into the workouts.
Very little direction on app
This program is wonderful for helping me to heal my diastasis recti and build up my strength after having twins. I have lost 15 inches off my waist and nearly healed my DR after 3 months of doing this program about 4 times a week. I had HELLP syndrome and was in the ICU for 4 days after delivering my twins. I received dialysis and blood transfusions, and was confined to bed for days. I used a walker for about a month after delivery. This program helped me to regain my muscular strength and endurance. I also love that it helps me to learn types of exercises or functional moves which are detrimental to my DR, and how to avoid or adapt them. I can see the tone of my abs coming back without performing a single crunch! This program gets 5 stars if you are looking to heal DR, pelvic floor exercises for urinary incontinence, and to get back into gentle exercise after childbirth (or children-birth in my case). Why I rated it 4 stars is that the app could be improved in some areas in order to become a total fitness solution. "My track" assigns a core compression video + exercise video for each day. At times the same core compression exercises are repeated in the exercise videos. So it can become repetitive. Also, the editing of the exercise videos are a bit off (the same segment is used for several different videos), and I don't like the voice over in the earlier videos. The newer videos with regular audio are an improvement. I also would love more cardio and HIIT videos to be added. I am used to more intense exercise--I would gladly continue past my current subscription year if many more intense exercise videos are added. Another suggestion is to be able to sort quickly by type of exercise, length, intensity, etc.
I found Every Mother 6 years postpartum-- after finally making it a priority. I still have a little ways to go, but it definitely works!! I am grateful for this program for doing the research, making it affordable (a physical therapist was not!) and also including whole body workouts that are challenging without without worsening the diastis recti. It's really tough to find workouts that take this into consideration.
I needed a workout that helped close the gap of my DR. Love that this is both physio and workout combined
