Easy to use. Love this program. I'm going into my first birth feeling confident in my body's ability to labor well.

I was intrigued by this program after hearing about it on NPR. It sounded like just what I needed to get back in shape, 2 years post partum. Ironically I had my annual OB/GYN appointment early in the series and I asked my OB to gauge in DR. She referred me the pelvic floor specialist within their practice who actually explained my pelvic floor was weak (despite having no urinary incontinence). Until those muscles are repaired, it’s difficult to repair DR. I’ve been doing the EM core workout daily along with the exercises the pelvic floor specialist gave me, and I believe doing both together have significantly healed my DR. All that to say, DR needs to be managed by a professional and not guided by the app alone.

I'm enjoying the app and the exercise routines available. It's been a nice way to work on my diastasis recti, and get back into shape after pregnancy, safely. I enjoy knowing that all the workouts are approved for my current status. I started out using the guided path schedules, but have found now that I prefer to just pick what I want to do based on how I'm feeling and how much time I have available since schedules with a young baby are so unpredictable. Occasionally, I have issues with the videos when I pause them and want to restart them. It's also difficult to scroll through back to where you left off if for whatever reason you have to exit the video part way through.

Beware their annual subscription - they don’t notify you that they are renewing, charge you for an extra year, and then won’t refund you the full amount. They charged me a $44 “quarterly” fee instead of the full $119 after I caught the charge on my credit card statement within a month and actually emailed them (hard enough to do with a new baby on my hands)! I’m honestly surprised I even caught the charge. It just feels dishonest to not let a customer know they’re being recharged. Apparently you need to go into the app and check your subscription status in order to figure out what your status is (who does that, especially if you aren’t using the app in the first place?) That’s a low integrity move towards your customers.

I get mixed messages about diastasis recti. Every Mother says it can repair it... several highly regarded surgeons and physicians I've consulted with say that it's a "snake oil" sales pitch -- that it can give the appearance of closing the gap by strengthening other muscles, but that ultimately there is no full remedy except for surgery. I'm inclined to believe the physicians because (1) the EM research is spotty and there isn't enough transparency around the participants and their individual diagnoses/progress and (2) the Reclaim program has not worked for me and I've completed it many times with extremely high fidelity -- every workout, every day with only occasional misses (which I made up ASAP). I even did the second Reclaim path, and while I enjoyed the workouts and the benefits of fitness, it did not make any difference for my DR. And yes, I am recruiting the deep core muscles! I am an extremely fit person (prior to my twins I used to run 2-3 marathons/year) and I cannot imagine a person with more discipline committing to this program. So it's not a failure of understanding the technique, or following the program precisely -- it just doesn't work. I plan to continue using the app because I do like the workouts. But I have come to peace with the fact that it doesn't deliver on its core promise -- to resolve DR.

EM had helped me tremendously gather my core strength back, even 8 years postpartum. My back is much stronger now too. Would recommend to anyone looking to gain core strength.

I was hesitant at first, but I'm now telling all mamas about this program! I had minor DR, but was more-so trying to strengthen my deep abs and improve my c-section 'pooch.' My doctor saw a difference and my co-worker also repaired her DI 100%. I wish the background music would be a bit more diverse to change things up a bit, but overall love the program.

It was very instructive and effective in resolving my diastalis.

Excellent program.

I enjoy Every Mother. I feel very comfortable and understood. It is designed with my body type and needs in mind, and that feels great. My only complaint is that the time commitment each day varies greatly. Some days include a short 10 minute workout and the next day might be 30. That is hard for a working mom of two. I would appreciate a more consistent time commitment.

In general I am very happy with the program. I am very happy for targeted efforts to resolve dr. I joined about a year ago though, and from the marketing I was under the impression that the dr would be resolved at the end of the program. I didn’t realize that I may have to repeat it several times. That expectation was a bit of a blow. Otherwise the videos with the stool can sometimes be too fast. I often have no idea if I’m doing it correctly. The team in the community is very responsive though. Overall I really appreciate this!

Every Mother is easy to fit into an already busy schedule and I can see and feel the results! The program has made me more aware of protecting my core throughout the day. My midwife recommended EM Body and I am so thankful she did!

I love Every Mother. I was able to resolve my DR in less than 3 months! I’m currently on the Surpass program and I’m feeling like my old self again.

I went to a PT for several months after my third left me with 4.5cm diastasis recti. But after about a year I was still having a hard time closing the last couple cms and getting my core strength back. I have now completely closed my upper gap and am only 1cm in my middle right at my belly button. I can do things now that I thought would forever be a no for me. Finally feeling strong!

I am very happy with this program. I started with a 3 finger gap and very deep. I am closing it and shortening the depth everytime I have a check in!

I started this program almost 2 years postpartum and it changed my life. I lost 4 inches around my waist, resolved my abdominal separation (that I didn’t even know I had) and improved my overall fitness. Thank you Every Mother!!

I started this program with gusto but I kind of faded in and out after the first 25 days. I recently felt like I was back on track and started back up regularly. In between I was probably doing three to four workouts a week. In the last 20 days of being very consistent with the program (only taking Sundays off). I’ve seen and felt such a great improvement in my core strength and look. I am a mother of six and have had clinical separation since baby #2. I wish I had been doing this between pregnancies but alas this program is really helping me get my core back.

This program works! I’m in the best shape of my life. All I can say is, I wish I would have found it sooner!

Love that I get reminders daily and that each day is something a little different. I’m already busy with 2 littles, full time work and with one on the way I have no time to get creative. EM does all that work for me. I feel like I’m in good hands. Also note I have DR + an umbilical hernia and I know EM has done research on the safety of their program for hernias! Feeling greatful!

I’ve had some success closing my upper and lower gap but none at my belly button, I still look very pregnant and feel discouraged most of the time especially when we do measurements. The support team has been great encouraging me to continue. I’ve been doing the program for 7 months.
