Fantastic workouts, well-adapted to my postpartum body.
It has been very helpful. I can go quickly or slowly and I can repeat if needed. If I’m unable to to set aside a day for the exercise, I’m able to catch up another time. And it works!
I love the Every Mother program! It helped me tremendously after having my second child. I love the workouts and the community. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone.
Core compressions helped me greatly reduce my diastasis recti. Workouts are effective and easy to do at home.
Every Mother has been a total fitness game changer for me. I'm 8yr PP and had essentially blown out my core doing intense ab exercises through Les Mills Core (I still love LM and do many of their other programs but will not go back to that one again). I had induced 2cm DR top, 3cm middle, and an umbilical hernia with all the crunches and other similarly injurious core stuff I was doing. I did the Reclaim Classic program and am now 1cm top and 1.75cm middle, and the umbilical hernia is no longer noticeable! The best thing about this program is the education aspect--i now feel very comfortable trying other exercise programs and knowing when and how to modify (or avoid) certain positions to protect my core. It's like I learned another language. I also like the exercises in EM itself. The strength ones are challenging, and the core-focused ones feel just right. I do wish the cardio ones were more challenging (I rarely break a sweat), and I wish the yoga ones involved more stretching (they rarely leave me feeling limber). I do like all of the instructors, and the new ones have great energy; I just still haven't found the intensity I'm looking for, even in the HIIT workouts, cardio-wise. That may just be personal preference. The app itself is very intuitive, and the Village aspect is great. There are several flaws with the app, though: (1) to go from the Village to your path, you have to select "back to app" which is frustrating, (2) using your phone's "back" function generally just makes you exit the app, not go to the previous area, unless you're in a comment thread, (3) the workout library is organized by Strength, Core, Cardio, and Restorative, which is great, but there's no option to search by type, so if you want to find a Pilates or HIIT class you have to scroll through Restorative (or is it Strength?) for Pilates and Cardio for HIIT, so it takes awhile, and trying to search by workout length takes even longer, (4) having an option to design your own path would be phenomenal, so that you could arrange your workouts according to your own weekly routine, but the only option for customization is to go to the workout library each day, which is laborious, and (5) I wish that the CC tracks had a version with cues to *relax* the pelvic floor instead, for those of us with an overactive pelvic floor (overall, there is little support for overactive PF needs, although a new Village channel to ask questions of a PF specialist has been added, which is awesome--thank you, EM!). The pros far outweigh those cons, though. I signed up for an annual subscription after completing Reclaim and moving to Surpass because I consider EM to be an integral part of my fitness routine now. Thank you for designing such a wonderful and effective program and giving me the knowledge and tools I need to exercise safely and stop being my own worst fitness enemy!
My ab separation has reduced to 2 fingers from 4 fingers at my belly bottom and completely closed above and below belly bottom within 3 months. I am so glad for this program. I am still working on my ab via the extended version of the program and hopeful that it will close completely very soon.
I came to EM three or four months ago after I was diagnosed with an umblical hernia and diastasis recti, even though my last baby was born 4.5 years ago. I like how it's explained how to navigate movement through daily life to keep our core protected from further injury. The workouts are good! I often feel challenged and appropriately sore afterwards, and I'm a fit woman who exercises regularly. I also love yoga, and EM has helped me learn how be safe on the mat as well. I have already recommended EM to friends.
I love this program! It offers such a good variety of options and lengths to the programs. I enjoy it and will continue through to the next phases. I definitely recommend!
The admins just seem to reply from a script and don’t actually answer questions. Searching workouts on the app needs to be improved with filtering. The cc sequences should show what “equipment” (a wall!) is needed the way it shows on the workouts so you know what you need before starting.
Wow, this app is wonderful. I developed pretty significant diastisis recti during my pregnancy and this app helped me begin to strengthen safety for labor. I am now in my 4th trimester and have loved having safe exercises that are helping me heal. I really missing my intense workouts that I did before pregnancy and this app gives me encouragement that I’ll get back there. Love the guided paths and the catalogue of videos for additional workouts. One thing I’d like to see on this app is even more diversity that represents all body types, skin color, and accessibility.
This is a great program! After several pregnancies and a chronic achy back, I learned about diastasis recti and discovered the Every Mother program. I love the sound advice for safe and unsafe exercises and the variety of core exercises offered. The breathing technique has made a huge difference and I already have measurable and visible results. I really feel like EM is the missing piece for every woman struggling with postpartum recovery.
This app is a repository of knowledge and provides access to really good exercise programme. Teachers are great. Everything well explained. Great quality of content. This app will keep you motivated not to miss a day in your recovery.
I find the Every Mother program to be so nurturing for my body. While my DR was slight, it has completely healed in the program. I actually received a compliment on my abs - someone was shocked I had ever had a baby. Overall, the exercises and program feel good to my body. And, the exercises are great for the pelvic floor, too!

So glad I found every mother. I've been working on my diastisis recti for 2 months and there is a definite improvement. Couldn't recommend this site enough. My posture has improved immensely, no more backache or any ache that I had before for that matter. Amazing
The program is amazing! It really works - I've seen a change in appearance and strength and feeling as well. I did traditional physical therapy for a while for DR and Every Mother uses many of the same exercises but walks me thought them. The only thing I would change is I wish there was a way to turn off the talking in the core compressions. After a few times, I don't need the coaching the whole time, just a sound to tell me when its time to switch exercises. Other than that I have loved using Every Mother and have seen great results so far.
This program has been easy to stick to for me. I like that there is a workout all ready to go for me every day- and while I can always choose to do a different or additional workouts, I love having something just already to go to. I definitely feel stronger in my core, which is what I was looking for to help me avoid injuries to my low back. I like that these workouts are challenging but are still safe for my core. I did it for 3 months and am planning to keep going because I love the structure of this program. Because I’m paying for it, I’m motivated to be faithful in exercising.
Every Mother works! I lost 1.5 inches off my belly in the first 3 weeks of the program, and a total of 3.5 inches during the 90 day program. And, my diastasis recti is healed! Plus, I look and feel so much better! The program is well-designed and everything is laid out for you each day when you open the program. They have great customer service, and they are really supportive and encouraging. I recommend it to all of my friends!
I LOVE this program! I have always been very into health and fitness but after two c sections in less than two years and severe diastasis recti after my second I found it hard to get back into training. I tried a couple of programs which were targeted at women in the postpartum period but thankfully as I’m working with a chiropractor and physiotherapist knew that the exercises they contained were damaging for women within six months of giving birth, particularly if the had DR. I found this programme and have lived all the workouts and the fact it’s created to rehabilitate your body after pregnancy and birth. I started at seven weeks postpartum and am three weeks I - I’ve already decreased by an separation and have lost weight. I’ve shown the program to both my chiro and physio who are now recommending it to other women.
6 weeks in and I have lost 2 inches! Great program that is easy to fit into your day.
