It works! I feel like I'm going to be doing this every day for forever, but it's worth it to feel like myself again and be able to enjoy my life with less or no pain or leaking.
I love how the program is tailored for your needs. The videos and instructors are easy to follow and the layout of the app is really user friendly. I’m so happy to have found something that can help my DR and can easily be done at home. I’m only a week in, but I’m excited to see where this program will take me.
The app is great The access to specialists is amazing for specific questions and the exercise programs are amazing and effective Customer service is always prompt and professional
The workouts are amazing! I’m only 5 days in and already my back pain has decreased significantly, which is amazing! I can’t wait to keep going.
I like having a workout that I know is safe while pregnant and I look forward to continuing it on my postpartum healing journey. There is not much out there to help pregnant women with correct exercises and movement during this time and I find EM super informative and helpful.
Very targeted and good program for woman with diastisis recti.
Targeted workouts, express workouts that fit into your routine
Easy to follow workouts that provide results. Great team and communication.
I love the app. But I do think it’s overly priced. And I hesitated to renew it this past year. There are only so many exercises that are just repeated in a different order for a different day.
The workouts feel gentle & safe for my back and joints, but still challenging. I work up a sweat easily and am sore the next day, but still have energy.
Great work out program to improve DR. So far I've only been using the program for 2 days but I appreciate the clear videos and the easily navigational app. The program is separated by day, so each day has different videos to complete & check off. The work outs so far are just right for any skill level and can be modifiable. The exercise lengths are not too long and the instructors are very likeable. Overall, I highly recommend Every Mother.
I'm only on day 10 but I love that there is a daily check list of activities to follow - it keeps me accountable. Some improvement could be made in 2 areas: one is that, despite there being little icons below videos to tell you what you'll need, I wish there was a heads up in the intro videos (or even before youll subscribe) that tells you you'll need so much gear. So far I've needed a yoga block, a resistance band, a foam roller and two sets of weights - not everyone has those things! Also, sometimes the transitions in the exercise videos are quick cuts and they don't give you time to move your body into the new position before beginning the exercise. I do believe that this regimen will improve my core tho, so I'm looking forward to that.
Easy to use app, videos are great and I'm feeling a difference in my core.
Overall a great experience - only recommendation is to have a few 30 min workout options.
I was so excited to try this program since it was proven to solve diastasis. Unfortunately, I have not seen any improvement at all and some symptoms even got worse. I have asked many questions and just kept getting “trust the process and keep going” which is very frustrating. I’m very athletic and have seen many physical therapists for previous pregnancies and made improvements with those programs and PTs. This was very disappointing from my experience and now I need to find a new women’s health physical therapist since this did not help at all.
I was stolen from after cancelling a year previous, they still took a yearly subscription charge and wouldn’t refund. Go to the low reviews section and you’ll see the same, a lot of people who were stolen from. I think maybe a lawyer would take it up for a side project to sue these people whose success seems to be built upon stealing.
PREDATORY AUTO-RENEW: I found the program clunky and not my style. I paid for a three month subscription, barely used it and then it auto-renewed. I hadn't read the fine print. When I emailed for a refund (my usage was zero, which is of course entirely trackable), the EM staff told me that I had agreed to the charge in the fine print and that there "subscription wasn't based on usage and they have to abide by their policies". So I've lost 90$!
Feel like so far going from one day to the next it's not a connected program that I'm doing. I wish it was more that they took day one and then lead into day 2 etc. I just did a day 4 of a program and was like where did this stuff come from
Program is good. I wish there was a feature that you can stop and restart the same program. i was pregnant then got on bed rest and now postpartum and can’t start the same program again with new measurements and progress photos. So it’s a little bit annoying.
I absolutely LOVE Every Mother! It’s an all-in-one program with core exercises to close DR, various other exercises to tone your body (strength, cardio, yoga, Pilates), and almost most importantly *education* about DR and mechanics behind exercises/daily movement. I have been a member twice now - once a couple years ago after my second pregnancy (first pregnancy was with twins, second was a singleton but carried large) and now again after my third pregnancy (a singleton). Needless to say, after four kids my DR is pretty significant AND I have an umbilical hernia from the twin pregnancy. The comparison in the program from my first time as a member vs now is huge! There are several new instructions that specialize in certain exercises or educational pieces (I.e. pelvic floor PT specialist, strength trainer), and I really love the format of the new exercise instruction (background music, 3 people doing various modifications, live instruction filmed vs cut together). This program really makes me feel STRONG, which is something I can’t say I’ve felt in a long time. It’s REALISTIC in that doing 10 mins of core exercises at the minimum per day is pretty feasible, even for a full time working Mom of four. It was very EFFECTIVE for me the first time I was a member in that I improved my DR a lot, I hope I can do the same this time. The new additions will keep me here for longer this time as there’s so much more offered to keep me engaged. IMO a few recommendations for how to further improve the program: 1) make the Community function easier to use (Boolean search functionality); 2) add more positive reinforcement and reminders (I.e. regular member outreach with the message “you’re doing great!” or “you’re strong, you’re beautiful” or “embrace the way you look now and visualize where you’ll be by the end of this program”). The latter could be done via Community, emails, SMS text messages, etc. In the absence of an emphasis on positive reinforcement and without strong Community connection, the program can feel a little transactional in nature, so I think these things could build a stronger network to maintain engagement and loyalty. An opt in/out function may be nice for those who prefer the program as-is vs those who want more engagement; 3) reminders to work out via SMS text.
