The service rep was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose the problem which turned out to be a problem with something on my end and not Community Phone. He was great.
Just finding out that there is a landline service when our cable/cell service wont use land line or our landline is broken is a relief.

WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE. IF I COULD GIVE IT A MINUS 10 I WOULD. I'VE BEEN WITHOUT SERVICE OFF AND ON FOR WEEKS. CAN'T CALL OUT OR RECEIVE CALLS. CAN'T SEND OR RECEIVE MSGS ON EITHER MOBILE OR LAND LINE SERVICE. I'VE SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE, WHEN I'VE BEEN ABLE TO CONTACT THEM, USUALLY ON A FRIEND'S PHONE. AND THEY OFFER ME A $30 CREDIT. LAST NGHT I WAS ABLE TO RECEIVE MESSAGES ON MOBILE BUT COULDN'T CALL OUT. TODAY...ZILCH. LAND LINE SERVICE IS DEAD. CAN'T SEND OR RECEIVE TEXT MSGS. I'M 93 YEARS OLD WITH NO WAY TO GET HELP IF I NEED IT. TECHNOLOGY AT COMMUNITY PHONE SUCKS. THEY SHOULD CLOSE DOWN THEIER SERVICE IF THIS IS THE BEST THEY CAN DO. STAY AWAY FROM CP. THEIR ARE BETTER FISH IN THE SEA.

I've been shocked, I have never had an experience like this with any company. Kudos to those employees and to the management that picked them and trained them so well. The instructions for setting up Community Phone's voicemail told me to use a mobile phone. (We don't have one of those!) Happily, Axel from the support team was able patiently to step me through setting it up. No cell phone was required!
Abdul Butt made the chat experience the best I've ever encountered on a chat board. I didn't have to wait 15 minutes for a response to my inquiries. His explanations of Community's services was to the point and clear. I've been searching for a company that can help my sister. In her current state she is unable to see well, in fact she is legally blind, and dementia is creeping in. After a very sensitive conversation with Abdul he helped me confirm my instinctive nature to give my sister the very best access to communication as she can handle. After I've had a chance to use your product for a few weeks I'll give you my opinion of your services. Until then keep up the good work with your training. You obviously trained Abdul well. The phone company came to my mom's house 4 times to fix the phone. It never was fixed, she is 94 and without a phone it could be life threatening. So I fired them and went to Community Phone they had a phone sent to us right away, she got to keep her phone number. And the phone worked every day. The people at Community Phone was great to work with, very knowledgeable and understanding. Sadly my mom no longer needs her phone Community Phone was very understanding when I canceled. They even purchased the phone back. Thank you.
My elderly aunt switched to community phone and it has NEVER worked. She cannot receive calls.
Community phone service is by far the best customer service i have ever had! I have called 7 or 8 times in the past week or 2 for different things,not at all because I've had trouble with the service at all but mostly just questions on setting up for my Uncle who is 85 and needs his service to be as simplified as possible. Every time I called there was a minimal wait time,maybe a minute or 2 before I actually got a live agent. Every agent I got was very knowledgeable,couteous,patient and helpful. I actually just got done with Michael and he was amazing. I had a question to ask my uncle before i proceeded to add robo blocker and Michael was kind enough to give me 15 minutes and he called me back as promised. I am so happy with the level of service I've received I had to write a review! They all deserve to be commended on the quality of service they deliver! Thankyou Michael and all the other agents i have worked with. You make Community Phone an amazing company!!!

I am liking Community Phone! I get more features (like, voicemail transcription sent to my email) for about half the cost of my AT&T phone. What caused me to change my phone service was when my AT&T landline went out, and AT&T said it would take two weeks to fix it. Then I found out that Community Phone would be half of what I was paying AT&T! Bu-bye! I am impressed with their tech: installation was a breeze, and required no--that's zero--calls to tech support. Maybe the smoothest install I have ever experienced. The only glitch: sometimes a long delay between entering the last digit of a phone number (for an out going call) and connecting.
This service is TOTALLY UNRELIABLE. If you really need a phone, try everything— anything else. We have had nothing but trouble with this service. Customer service will be very polite, “understand” your problems, and claim to fix your issues, and you will find the same problem the next day. The entire system is janky, broken, and unfixable. We have had a dozen “fixes” to our problems, and we end up back in the same place with the same problem. Their remedy for the money we have already paid is to give us another month free— of useless service! Get your senior loved one who doesn’t like cell phones a Jitterbug or something simple and user friendly that has reliable service. Community phone will just upset and frustrate them more than learning to use a flip phone with large buttons. Avoid this service at all cost unless you want to be troubleshooting the service every other day. Further, their service is easily hijacked by scammers— another problem your senior loved one doesn’t need. Update: The last problem we had was supposed to be remedied with a new SIM card. The new SIM card only made things worse! We currently cannot make or receive phone calls on this service we have already paid for. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! You have other options. use them
