Excellent web app to manage volunteers. eLearning module is very very poor! My suggestion is to take it out or improve it radically. (I have eLearning education and industry experience). It is not fair to claim to have this function with extremely poor job! In fact, to call it eLearning module is exaggeration!
Such a great App- very user friendly with a really easy to use layout.Logging volunteer hours or signing up for events is quick and simple as is cancelling an event. Thoroughly recommend it to organisations and volunteers.

So where do I start: The Better Impact team should be winning awards for their customer service. I am standing up a Veteran volunteer program and looked at quite a few different volunteer management programs. Several things sold me on Better Impact. The first thing was the intuitive nature of their program, I'm not really a computer guy and I can fumble my way through. And if I can do it, I'm betting that anybody can. Second thing was the training videos, you can watch the training video on one screen while performing the task on the other. And by the way, they just made that better with Better Impact TV. You should check it out if you haven't. So, when I am stuck, I go to the videos and generally it is enough to get me on my way. And third, the customer service. If I'm still confused I reach out to them via a text and they respond fast, like right away, which is pretty awesome, actually beyond awesome. And I needed to convince my organization that Better Impact was the program we needed. On a complete whim I asked them if they could do a presentation for my organization, they did it, they were awesome, and I now use there volunteer software. I couldn't be happier. I know I kind of sound like a sales man, I assure you I'm not, I'm just not used to the kind of service this team gives, I can e-mail them, text message them, or call them and they answer, every time, all the time, quickly.

I'm coming back..... I utilized Better Impact at my previous organization. In my new role at a different organization, I am switching us from the existing program (remaining nameless) to Better Impact. It is more user friendly, the price is better, the support is phenomenal, and it is constantly improving and being tweaked to be even better and more functional. Well worth your time to explore this program and company!

The Better Impact support team are incredibly responsive and have helped our administrators create and use the database to maximise efficiency of our service. Carly, in particular, has been fantastic and looked into alternative ways to make our work better. She and others in the team have spent time making sure that they understand what support we need. There are certain things which aren't possible to change, and they have made us aware of this.
I took on the job of Volunteer coordinator 1 week before our6 week arts festival launched. Within a week I had signed up 100+ volunteers and have found Better Impact to be intuitive and super easy to run reports and rosters through. If I'm ever stuck I just shoot through a question and get an immediate reply with a step by step solution. Better Impact is great for the Volunteers and great for me.
Better Impact has changed my life! It has saved me so much time and effort and continues to do so with each update. It is so easy and intuitive to use. Most impressive is the fantastic support given by the BI team. Their response to any query is quick, friendly and easy to understand. Their User Group meetings which offer opportunities to kept up-to-date with changes, hear from other volunteer professionals about their experiences with Better Impact and to receive feedback from us who use the system are invaluable. Better Impact has been amazing to work with for our Volunteer Impact enterprise account at LIRS. Special thanks to Rob Bonesteel for being our POC for the last 2-3 years. He is supportive, helpful and so much fun to talk with. He runs training for us and has spent a lot of one on one time with me over the years, giving advice and help to design our implementation. I'm frankly surprised that Better Impact is able to provide this level of individualized customer support. It's amazing. The rest of the team is also great. As for the Volunteer Impact itself, I would say the only downside is that it can take some work to fully learn the system, but for us, it's totally been worth it since the complexity is what allows it to be so very customizable.

Working with hundreds of staff and thousands of volunteers across the state of Minnesota, Better Impact is making volunteer management that much easier! We have been testing and slowly rolling out the software to the various divisions within our environmental government agency with great success. There is always a learning curve with anything new, but staff and volunteers are embracing it as it helps with recruitment and scheduling. I've already demonstrated the software to several other state agencies within Minnesota and in other states. All were impressed with its capabilities and the great IT support Better Impact provides. Look no further if you need help on a BIG scale!
I can't say enough positive things about Better Impact and especially the customer service staff. I recommend this software to ANYONE who manages volunteers for the reasons listed below. I do come across some limitations for my organization's specific needs but the great experience working with the staff and software far exceeds the limitations experienced. 1. The system is very user-friendly and mostly intuitive. 2. My main reason for the 5 star rating is the staff. They are simply WONDERFUL! Anytime I need help, I get prompt responses online and it's super easy to request a phone meeting. I once had a report that had to be done ASAP and Andrew stayed on the phone with me until we figured out the right way to run the report AND save time in the future by saving the search query. 3. Better Impact is always improving the user experience! Although, I do wish they would introduce the search option I recommended in the product feedback that would allow us to search for ALL people who meet a certain criteria, and of that population, NOT people who meet another set of criteria. Other than that, the software is fantastic for our organizational needs. I even emailed my former employer (in a different state) to let them know they should be using Better Impact!
Having used other databases to manage volunteers previously, Better Impact is a dream. It is extremely user friendly and continuous improvement is practiced via the product improvement suggestion site. Support is fantastic with a comprehensive and easy to search help database, 24/7 online support, better impact buddies and user group meetings. Would highly recommend!
Been working within this software for 4 years, find it easy to use and a life saver. If I do need help I get support quickly and my issues resolved.
