We wanted to have our funeral our way. We had children from 10-15 who had never attended before. We went ‘off book’ in so many ways but Austin’s took it all in their stride and accommodated all our requests. Any queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend them.

Had never arranged a funeral and was daunted at first. Received truly wonderful service full of kindness and professionalism and after many questions from me as a novice the funeral turned out exactly as I had hoped. When my mother passed away, a very sad time for my sister, nephew and I, Austin’s guidance and understanding made the whole experience easier to handle. On the day of the funeral those looking after my mother and us were amazing, when arriving at my house they gave us time to mourn with her privately and at the crematorium they made sure we knew what was going to happen. A faultless service all round.

My Mother in Law was cremated in a service yesterday that was managed by Austins of Hitchin. From the first contact, the care and attention to detail was exceptional. Jackie who dealt with the planning was such a warm, caring and lovely person and made us feel totally at ease and in safe hands from the minute we met her. Then the Funeral Director contacted me the day prior and put all of my needs first and nothing was too much trouble. He then met me and acted so professionally and respectfully and looked after Mum in such a caring way. I would not hesitate to recommend Austins of Hitchin.
