Service went really well - the celebrant was absolutely lovely and very good at her job - we had a great meeting with her to arrange the details and she wrote a very good eulogy. The staff made the process really easy, and we were kept in the loop at all times - very good communication all round. We would thoroughly recommend Austins for a sympathetic and efficient service that did not seem to cost any more than their competitors - and of course they have had a lot of practice!
From the moment I made contact with Austins until after the funeral of my mother, the service was exemplary. Patient and kind, they guided us through every stage of the process in a caring and professional manner. On the day everything went like clockwork, exactly as planned. I could not have asked for anything else.

Austin’s have recently carried out the funeral for my late uncle. From start to finish the service has been impeccable. All staff have been exemplary, so compassionate, caring and understanding. We live 140 miles away but they have made the process and planning seamless despite the large distance. My uncles’ funeral was just beautiful and Harwood park is just a peaceful and tranquil place. A massive thank you to Amanda and Gary who were just amazing!! Thank you doesn’t seem enough!!

Sharon from Austin’s, Hertford branch, was super compassionate and met every single need of ours and guided us through the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even calling at 9 in the evening they were able to help me! I would highly recommend to anyone. Especially if you haven’t a clue where to start.
The team were helpful making the whole process as easy as possible and dealt with last minute changes and supported us all the way through this difficult time.

This is the fourth time we have used Austins for the funerals of our family members. Every time they have done a superb job. Caring and compassionate, patient and understanding. No hard sell. On the day of each funeral everything ran smoothly. I would, of course, prefer not to have to use any funeral director again, but if I do it will be Austins.
Really liked the personal touches like the condolences card to the family and the seeds to plant in memory of our father. Also appreciated the phone call from them the day before the funeral just to check everything was as we wanted and whether or not we needed to make any changes. We've used Austin's twice now and would certainly recommend them.
If we could leave 10 stars we would. The service provided from every member of staff was exceptional. From the moment we called regarding our mums passing to the day of the funeral, they made an awful time more bearable. Thank you Janine and Amanda for the help and advice with regards to the arrangements for mums funeral. To all the staff for being so accommodating about visiting mum at the chapel of rest you always made sure this was possible. Thank you. A special thank you also to Gary, Mick and and the rest of the team for making the day of mums funeral a very elegant and respectful way to say goodbye.
