Janine was very friendly and professional during the entire planning process. The day we had to come and complete everything was very difficult. But we never felt rushed. She took the time to explain everything in detail. Their employees are also wonderful compassionate, kind and professional namely Chelsey and Gary and the rest of the gentlemen. Our feelings and emotions were definitely understood by them and that was very much appreciated. Thank you Austin! You truly made a difference during such difficult time.

I am very pleased with the funeral service provided for my husband, our wishes were all as requested, all of the people we dealt with were very professional, kind and understanding. I would recommend Austin's every time, this sadly was my 5th time using them in recent years. Our celebrant Lynn Parker was as always exceptional. Special thanks to Amanda and Gary.

The company provided a good service. However the price list I went by on the website was not the price list used after they took my late husband in their care. I signed the estimate before going home and realising the price difference. Their response was to transfer arrangements to another funeral company. Neither a professional nor a sensitive or practical response especially since this was an error on their part of not up dating the website.

All went smoothly making a cremation for my beloved mother a lot easier to handle. The only complaint I had was I wasn’t involved as they spoke to my niece rather than myself. I found that off putting.

The staff at Austin’s go above and beyond to help guide you through one of the most upsetting and traumatic times of your life. From the first telephone call I felt truly cared for and supported. Nothing was too much trouble and I know my late mum was cared for and went on her final journey with love and dignity. Thank you to you all. Very highly recommended

The service received at Austin's Funeral Service was professional and considerate at all times. The funeral service for my Father was well planned and I was guided and fully involved throughout the journey. It was particularly helpful and supportive to be contacted the evening before the service to go through everything as planned and be reassured of support on the day. I did need to be quite IT literate to prepare the visual tribute, but I was pleased to have invested in this as it made the service both personal and memorable. I would recommend Austin's Funeral Service.

Excellent personable service from start to finish

Excellent and understanding first meeting with Jackie at the Hitchin office. Immediate response to any further requests. It felt as though our's was the only ever funeral.
