3rd service carried out for us by Austin's Hitchin and a special mention to Jackie who is just wonderful at what she does at a time when your mind is racing she really helps with guiding you through what needs doing and when and nothing you want is to much trouble. Gary who was the head of our service was great very professional and joined in with the banter in the car, thank you all for helping give my dad the send off he deserved.

From the moment we made contact to well after the service the help, support and understanding was just as we would have wished for. It all seemed very personal, a true reflection on their professionalism and attention to detail. Where we were unsure they gave options and guided us so we chose the right things without any pressure or haste.

From the moment that we first contacted you about the passing of my late wife the compassion we received from the staff was fantastic. Jackie was excellent with taking care of the collection of my wife, organising all the details and keeping me informed of everything. The process was thoroughly explained to myself and family and the care shown to us all was outstanding. I have no doubt that my late wife was shown the upmost dignity through the whole sad event. On the day of the funeral, Michael and his team showed the upmost professionalism and nothing was too much trouble. They took away all the worries about the actual day and took control of everything ensuring that it ran like clockwork. As a family we can’t thank you enough for helping us through this sad time and making the process so much easier. I would have no concerns with giving your team the highest recommendation.

We had kind and considerate attention from all the staff we dealt with for my sister's funeral. Their manner was calm and helpful without being obsequious in any way. Just right.

Kelly and Veronica were always available. Kelly was happy to assist in any of the details for uploading photos, ordering the music, liaising with the florist. They were also very discreet and all the staff at the Chapel so respectful and kind. Lee, on the day made sure every details we wanted was done. We were very happy with the way Austin’s helped us through the whole process.

The service was explained with what would happen on the day in great detail. Austins had a very sympathetic attitude towards the grieving family.

the understanding and compassion all your staff portrayed through the whole process from meeting John at the nursing home when he came to collect Janice through his compassion and understanding which was a difficult time to Amanda and Jennine when we went through the whole process of understanding and putting together the order of service and to how Janice would be given the utmost care while with you, and to Gary who was very understanding helpful and encouraging throughout the evening and day of Janice's celebration of life service. Well done to you all and thank you so very much in making a difficult process very much more understandable in so many different ways. Thank You All

Austins arranged my mums funeral and they were absolutely brilliant from beginning to end. Lisa and Gary from the Buntingford branch were friendly, respectful, professional. Austin’s were extraordinarily professional and kind from start to finish. They helped make a tricky time so much easier, and listened to what we wanted in a celebrant, booking the most perfect celebrant for my father’s service. On the day they were very kind and helpful - I couldn’t recommend them more. The entire team involved in a variety of roles were just brilliant.

From start to finish Lusa at the buntingford branch was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and such a lovely warm person for such a difficult time.
