When my father passed away I contacted Austins and they quickly arranged to collect my father from the care home and were caring and thoughtful as they talked me through the next steps. Sharon at the Hertford office was fantastic and made us feel at ease as we discussed all of the particulars for the funeral and offered advise along the way. The day before the funeral I was contacted by a member of the team who gave me his number in case we had any questions about the arrangements for the day. The service was excellent and Austins staff were meticulous in their duties. Thank you.

This was an excellent service at a very sad time for us. We were dealt with both efficiently and sensitively throughout the whole process from the planning to the actual delivery of the funeral. A special shout out to Kelly in the Welwyn office who was always on hand to answer queries and helped us calmly through all the questions we had about our late Mother’s funeral. To have such strong guidance really helped the smooth running of the day. The conductor and drivers were also brilliant and helpful on the day of the funeral. Thank you very much!

Throughout the entire process we dealt with one person - Janine - who was lovely, attentive and compassionate every step of the way. We felt we were in good hands and she made us super comfortable from the get go. Every possible accommodation we required was made with earnest and enthusiasm and the entire day ran smoothly. The undertakers were professional and sensitive too. Apart from the cost, I cant fault any of them

From the initial call to Gary; the first visit from Michael; the detailed arrangements meeting with Jackie and then the funeral itself with Danny and his team, you dealt with everything with dignity, calm and kindness. The measured & compassionate approach you gave to every aspect, helped us when we needed it most. Everything was just as our Mum had wanted and we had hoped. The Hitchin team helped give her the send off she truly deserved. Thank you so much.
