Needed tub for my mother-in-law. Called them up representative came out couple day's later. Within a week we had the tub installed. Every one was very professional and was a pleasure to deal with.
When you first started working on my shower you had to come back to do what the first man could not get done But when the other gentlemen came in it was done very well
Enjoy the tub, just wish I could recline a bit more in the tub.
THE NEW WALK IN SHOWER DESIGN IS A SUPERB CONSTRUCTION WITH QUALITY METAL PLUMBING FAUCETS AND CONTROLS. IN ACT, THERE ARE TWO SHOWER FAUCETS WITH EXCELLENT CONTROLS. THE FOLD DOWN SEAT IS ALSO VERY CONVENIENT AND COMPLETELY WATER PROOF. THIS DESIGN IS AN EXCELLENT INVESTMENT FOR YOUR HOME OVERALL VALUE. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE PURCHASE AND THE INSTALLMENT WORKERS WHO WERE VERY CONCERNED ABOUT CLEANUP AND REMOVAL OF FORMER BATH FACILITIES.
I agree everything good
Threshold is high then stated. Installer was careless putting a hole in the wall that had to be patched and not repainted. I have had two electric problems. The first involved a control unit and two weeks to accomplish correction after contacting your company. The latest was a tripped GFCI. While looking for the problem, l found several problems: 1) 15 amp GFCI on a 20 amp breaker; 2) pvc white for water, not grey for electrical for the conduit; 3) common ground. Should I go on? Was the installer a certified licensed electrition? I would like these prob!ems corrected as soon as possible! Please let me know what to expect so I can plan accordingly. Purchased Mar 2017 from Mark Trent and installed in Apr 2017 - a year ago! Steadman White
All went well with tub and so far it’s use. Installation was ok. Need better system of caulking in tub. Gaps around tub in caulking where meets tub. Install did not finish taping for paint. Still but rough.
Excellent job and friendly pleasant installers.
No complaints - everything works as promised. Relaxing baths are great!
We have been very happy with our tub and the work done by the installer. The one suggestion I would make for improvement is to revers the direction of the drain valve. I think it is intuitive for most people to think clockwise to close and counter clockwise to open. Also if your water heater is old or you can afford to get the best I would suggest installing a tankless water heater at the same time. This would eliminate the need to plan cloth washings and dish washer use around your tub use.
We love our tub! However, there are 2 things about it that bother us. First, we installed a 50-gallon water heater and really need a 80-gallon. The water turns ice cold about 4/5 of the tub fill. We are trying to fix it by turning the water heater higher, but we have to be very careful not to get scalded at the other faucets in the house. The other thing that would be nice to have a plastic wedge from the wall to the door at the front of the tub to guide water back into the tub when showering standing up. We usually end up with water running down onto the floor. Other than that, it is wonderful and getting it is one of our best decisions we've made!
When the salesman measured for my tub, he did not take into consideration the way the door opens. When it arrived I had to remove my sink cabinet to allow it to open, and my towel cabinet to allow it to swing all the way open. I had to buy a very expensive, small custom pedestal sink and a small cabinet, along with some moving the plumbing to get everything to work. Other than that I LOVE my bathtub.
Non-slip covering is desperately needed on bottom of the UN. I bought the tub primarily to prevent falls. Was dangerous taking a shower or Exiting without the non-slip which I added.
I enjoyed your salesman and both installers. They did a great job. HOWEVER, there must be something you could do to make my husband use this walk in tub. So far, he will have nothing to do with it. Maybe he is afraid of falling or thinks it is too hard for him to get in. (He has a disability.) Maybe he is afraid it is too complicated. Also, I run out of hot water. What kind of hot water heater do I need?
The installation went smoothly and the tub works very well. My 89-year-old mother is very happy with her purchase.
We looked at similar products from 2 other companies and the American Standard Liberation tub was the best. The salesperson did a great job of promoting the product and was not "overbearing" about purchasing the product. The installation of the tub and toilet was done in a very professional manner and was completed in 1 1/2 days with no mess or problems with the tub. I feel this was a great investment and we are enjoying the benefits of the tub very much.
Poorest investment ever
It’s the investment in our home we have made in 20 years. I love the tub n use it regularly both my wife n I are disabled n it’s the best thing we have done !
American Standard Extra Large Safety Walk-in Tub 1. Great for sitting and showering ... after you put up a shower curtain so the room doesn't get wet. I found Trax makes special curtains for walk in tubs for a small fortune. Needed a handy man to install it. 2. Surface is not easy to clean because it keeps hold of all soap scum and skin debris in water and disperses it evenly from top to bottom. I was told the surface was "special" and lets all debris slip away with the draining water. Not even close! 3. Shower head placement wont hold position on vertical rail. 4. There is not a good place to put your towel where it stays dry. 5. Takes a long time to fill~15 to 20 minutes, but drains quickly.
Top quality and excellent service great addition to bathroom
