I love our tub. My husband has Parkinson and a reg. tub wasn't working for us. So for Father's Day he got his walk in tub and he loves it. The jets and air works on his legs and I don't have to bend over so far to wash him. The Guys were great installing it and very professional, they kept us inform of all of the process and what they had to do to installed it. If anyone needs a walk in tub go with American Standard.

It's a lot of money. The pillow is a waste, the infusion isn't worth additional money either. The "jets" are terrific but the "air" is very noisy. I wish the jets were less noisy too. We have thoroughly enjoyed using it although we need to buy a larger hot water tank. The drain is good but does not drain in 2 minutes. It takes 3 minutes, which since we live in Florida is fine. If I lived in the North East in the winter, it would be a long 3 minutes. The installers were professional, courteous and exceptionally good and left everything spotless.

I'm extremely pleased with the entire American Standard Walk in Bath experience. From beginning phone contact to follow-up on the installation, everyone involved was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. It is obvious that American Standard cares about the satisfaction of their customers. I never hesitate to recommend American Standard to anyone looking for 'the best' walk in tub.

It would be better if the tub was deeper, and some jets were up higher.

I am 6'5" and the sales person should have warned me that the water comes no farther up than my rib cage. This means that two of my problem areas: C5neck and middle back do not get relieved by th hot water.

I love the tub. It is easy to get in and out. Fill time and empty time are good. The only improvement I would make is wider doors for easier movement in and out, and a seat that is a couple inches lower in relation to the top of the tub and the massage jets. Anyone taller than 5’4” cannot sit and get any massage on upper back or shoulders. Installation was quick, clean, and professional. Coordination from point of sale to installation needs lots of work. My sale was almost lost a couple of times. First when there was no communication and no real effort made to secure my financing until I had made several calls and threatened to go elsewhere. And another time with the scheduling of installation, my date was changed several times. These combined to cause my tub to be installed several weeks after planned creating moving in conflicts. Overall I really am happy that I got the tub. It is indeed helpful for my pain. The tub is attractive, well built , so far, and functions well.

The tub itself is great and mostly as advertised. (Have yet to figure out how the aromatherapy works.) I gave my rating based, for the most part, on the install. The guys were personable but I was not happy with how they rushed through training and wasn't that happy with the finishing work on the door frame that was widened. And when I needed them to come back because the tub quit working it took almost 3 days! There is only one sales person for too large of an area so when you want to see or communicate with him it can take way to long. For such a quality product I expected more on the customer service side during and after the install.

We have had our walk-in tub for about a month now. It is working good and we like it very much! One small problem has developed, we have a very minor leak at the bottom of the door. I would like to know who to contact to have this fixed.

We love the tub but wish the installers had consulted us more on the enclosure design. It is much bigger than necessary and not pleasant to look at.

I am very happy with our new shower -- much much easier for me to shower while sitting with plenty of room...no more knees touching wall of old shower while sitting on shower chair. The two shower heads -- one wall head works out perfectly for my husband...and will work when I'm once again able to stand for the length of my shower, and the wand shower head (hand-held) is great with its adjustable height. On other hand, my vision of my new shower would be floor to ceiling real tile that I picked out...so I was disappointed with not having options, especially at the cost...but we're about to do a partial remodel of our master bath, and am looking forward to its completion.
