Here it is August 11 and still waiting for our repair call. I called yesterday and was told I would receive a call yesterday. Still have heard nothing. At this point if I could return it and get my money back I would. Bought it for my husbands arthritis problems and not able to use until repair is made. FRUSTRATING is just not strong enough. I notice if you have a positive review the company responds, have heard nothing. In May of 2021 we purchased the larger of the tub options and initially we were very pleased. Mr. Hanna who did the installation was very professional and even though he put our installation off for 2 days we were happy. After that we started blowing circuits from the wiring. Very difficult for my husband to get out of the tub when he cannot drain it. Fortunately I was able to do our basement stairs and reset the breaker. Then the jet control knob broke and a new one was sent to us in mid June. Here is the 28th of July and we still have not seen a repairman to replace. In speaking to the man in Texas, I was told we have a lifetime warranty. Great if you can't use it, nothing else will break. I am a very unhappy customer and have buyers remorse. These tubs are not cheap and you would think service would be much better.
Our tub was installed in August, 2020 and when it is working, it is FANTASTIC and we love it. However, in the 11 months that we have had it, we have had 3 needs for service and each of them leaves us with out a tub for a long time. The first one the drain stopped working and it took the service person 2 weeks to come and fix. The second there was a leak of incoming water from their plumbing work and it caused damage to the ceiling below the tub. That too was fixed but took a long time with no tub. Now the third, the tub electronics has stopped working - totally down. I called and they sent replacement parts that arrived in just a few days. The service man was supposed to call me and schedule the repair. That was 11 days ago and no contact. I called Texas home office and expressed my dissatisfaction and they said they too had not heard from the service man and they said they would contact the service man and they gave me the name of a manager to speak with. So I called the manager. It has been 4 days now and he has not replied to my call. Terrible service model. Today I spoke with another person in Texas who said they would personally reach out to the service man to get him to call me and set up a time for repair. I wonder whether that will do any good. I am planning to contact the Better Business Bureau to let them know what a terrible service American Standard offers. We paid over $16,000 for our tub. You would think that we could get better servi
This tub was a bad investment from the start..got it for my elderly mom, installation was not good, put in the wrong tub, had to wait for my tub I purchased, 3 months ago facet was stripped, service policy is 3 days the tech will call you. Never received a call so I had to call again. Today the tub will not drain, called service he told me to look in the panel to reset, he acted like I was suppose to know where to look & what he was talking about. He said he will put in a ticket & I will be getting a call from the tech (3 days). I asked to speak to a supervisor he said no one is around. I said I want to speak to a supervisor, he said I'm working remotely & there's no way he can contact a supervisor. Then i asked for proof that the ticket he said I can't give anything, I asked for an email,, he said I only send an email to the tech.. service so bad..wouldn't recommend at all! Definitely have buyers remorse on this product!!!!
My in-laws paid a lot of money for a walk in bath tub. They had American Standard install the tub. Twice the electronics stopped working. This second time it died on April 27,2021. She called and on Mother's day when we got home from dinner a large box was waiting for us. It was the repair parts. She had called 7 times and now it is June 30, 2021 and no one has come to repair it. I have been with them each time they called.. She called the 7th time on Monday and the person who answered put her on hold for 25 minutes and another person who was a work from home employee was so rude and hung up on her. This company is disgraceful. Preying on the elderly who paid $15,000 to be able to take a bath. I am planning on not only getting an attorney involved but also the Better Business Bureau.

Our brand new walk-in tub began leaking immediately after it was installed due to an obvious manufacturing defect. Photo evidence was presented, yet we are still responsible to pay to have it uninstalled and reinstalled out of our own pocket…My poor 80 year old mother-in-law is not able to afford the cost of installing a tub twice. I am beyond shocked by the way this was handled. The Home Depot and American Standards have lost a long term customers and will both be reported to the BBB. Please do your research before you end up in a similar situation. Obviously they feel it’s okay to take advantage of the elderly.
Sales lady was great. Office handling was very good. Had some small issues with the installation contractor with scheduling. I thought the contractor's finishing was a little rough - not too neat. However, they were very nice and easy to talk to.
American Standard was one of our most positive experiences. The installation was wonderful and so professionally done. Everyone we dealt with was straight forward and honest. We love the way we feel after our relaxing bath.

The installation went very well. The installers were great and very nice. The installation only took 1 day. We were impressed with the workmanship. Our salesman gave us a lot of information before we made our decision to buy.
I had made the decision to take out my old bathtub and replace it with a shower. I didn't know where to begin. American Standard reached out to me and boy, am I glad they did. A representative made an appointment to come by my house for a consultation. Man, was he thorough. He showed me samples of the tiles, the colors, hand rails...all the way down to the seat. He worked with me to help me pick what would be best for me. I liked that. I felt that I wasn't rushed into making a decision, but he took the time to go over everything with me. The gentlemen that installed my shower, and they were perfect gentlemen, were the best. Very knowledgeable and efficient. Any questions that I had, they answered. They left my property near and clean. Now I have a beautiful walk in shower that I can be proud of for years to come.
