At American Standard it all begins with our unmatched legacy of quality and innovation that has lasted for more than 150 years. It is this tradition of quality and innovation that puts us in three out of five homes in America, as well as, countless hotels, airports, and stadiums. We provide the style and performance that fit perfectly into life, wherever that may be.
My wife really likes her new walk in shower. She can't imagine how she previously was living without it. She likes everything about it. What did set us on this path was the Sales Representative Vincent Randall, who took the time to patiently explain all options and guide us to our final selection. It was an impressive start to the whole evolution.
Our Liberation Walk-In Bath was installed on March 24, 2021. We phoned the company in July because the hand shower attachment beside the faucet was no longer in place and dangled from the spot where it was once installed. A package of replacement parts was mailed on July 26, 2021 and we were instructed not to open the package. We have contacted American Standard several times and are still waiting for someone to come and fix our new Walk in Bath. We hope a new shower head is in the parts box because the one that came with the unit does not work properly. It appears that we have made an $18,253.00 mistake. If I could give this company a 0 for service I would!
it was great investment for our house
The install was quick, The installers were very helpful and explained how the tub worked, Was very pleased.
The walk-in tub is nice. I’m better able to help my husband shower. He has Alzheimer’s and bathing is a challenge. The customer service was very good. The installer was knowledgeable, thorough and cleaned up when complete. Everyone was great to work with and addressed my concerns quickly and efficiently. Two things cause me to feel disappointed. 1. We need to add some type of water conditioner or additional water heater in order to get full use of the walk-in tub. It would have been nice to know that that was a possibility before I invested so much money. 2. We got the regular size door and it is too small. My husband cannot maneuver through the door very well. I find it to be difficult to maneuver as well. Neither my husband or I am large people; so I find that to be odd that the door is so small and awkward.
Very happy with everything!
They were on time very professional and did a good job my only complaint is after they left we noticed a crack in the plaster a small dent in the wall and the paint chipped around the door frame the tub is awesome.
Done on time and great quality
Installers were right on time. Knew what they were doing and completed the job in one day. I was truly impressed. I am now enjoying my bath to the fullest. Thank you American Standard.
Excellent job. Very pleased that the circuit breaker panel was upgraded in the house also.
We are very happy with our American Standard Walk-In Tub. The installation process was painless on our part and the installers were courteous, professional and efficient. The Tub recently got a workout when my 20-year old grandson came for a visit and took at least two baths every day for a week. He referred to them as Spa Treatments. I love the "Linen" color of the tub and toilet -- they match the paint in my bathroom perfectly. Mark us down as Satisfied Customers!
Excellent thank you job well don
Seriously reconsider purchasing a walk in tub from American Standard / Safety Tubs. You should purchase one from another company and bypass this organization. American Standard would rather stiff a Veteran and his Handicap Spouse then do the right thing. I had attempted to purchase a Liberation walk-in tub from Safety Tubs LLC in April of 2021. The Salesman used shady pressure tactics to show he was lowering the price but, I had to commit on the spot. No time to consider the offer. I had gone through many reviews on many sites so I gave them a $1880.00 Deposit which they have NEVER returned. The Salesman failed to provide me with technical information regarding the flow of the unit so I could match a water heater to maximize the fill rate of the tub. I only had three days to reject the contract which I should of as he ignored me for several weeks and I was forced to make my own decision on the water heater purchase and plumbing. Fill rates are provided by other tub manufacturers. The installer, Safety Tubs (American Standard / Lixil) contracted to use called me to tell me they got the wrong tub on the Sunday before the installation and didn’t know which swing the door was on my tub which meant he didn’t know what he was installing. He also wanted to start the rip out of the bathroom without having the tub on site or when he was going to get the right tub. How long would my bathroom be unusable? He also didn’t apply for a building permit to do the work. The Safety Tubs, American Standard factory shipped the wrong tub and didn’t make the right one to start as they had to make another that shipped that same Monday morning. If they got it wrong the first time what was the quality level of the tub that they slapped together at the last minute? No matter who I tried to contact many times at Safety Tubs, American Standard or their parent company Lixil, none of them would take the time to answer that question. At one point my Salesman finally contacted me and offered me $500.00 off the price of the unit for my “inconvenience”. This was insulting as obviously I paid more than its true value and what does that say about the quality of the product? Does American Standard just reduce the price until you think you’re getting a good deal and pay the rest of the balance? I refused and my Salesman told me that I would get my deposit refunded to me. This went on for a few weeks via email and he assured me that his manager was taking care of it and that their system showed it was processed. I never got my deposit refunded. I contacted American Standard, Safety Tubs Company LLC and their parent company Lixil on their websites, by email, written letters and even wrote their CEO Steven Delarge a personal letter sent via FedEx which they signed for and never heard from them. I’m so glad I didn’t let them put their highly suspect piece of equipment in my home. What level of service would I receive if something went wrong over the life of the product if everyone from the Salesman, Installation Crew, Customer Service and all the way up to their CEO will ignore you.
All went excellent.,except someone did not catch that height for the Doors. Had to use curtain. Was not high enough for doors. Installer did an Excellent Job.
they were great, but could have been done in2 days
After some research we decided to purchase the American Standard walk-in tub. it had more features and an equitable price compared to its competitors. The installation was on time and went as scheduled. The salesman was knowledgeable and explained the process in detail. The installer was polite and did a really professional and neat installation. We have truly enjoyed our tub ,it is great to help relieve every day aches and pains. We would recommend the American Standard walk-in tub to anyone that is considering a walk-in tub.
Tub was good but panel was very sloppy, underneath floor, house is on blocks, 2 holes wbere electrical wires were run, insulation was removed and left open, animals and critters can get in, needs to be insulated and sealed back. They are coming back this week to fix.
Fast work and looks great; however, one of the corner strips is not fastened securely.
Very professional, would recommend to anyone. Install one day and love the job they did.
The guys were very professional. Keep the dust down as much as possible. They laid plastic down where they were walking. And cleaned up nicely
