The Sales Person was helpful, resourceful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The Installers where equally as helpful, resourceful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We would be happy to have them do any remodeling job for us in the future. The product is excellent.

The only concern I had was that the door that was put in to the remodeled bathroom didn’t shut right. The tub and the rest of the installation was great.

The staff who installed were great. The tub is fine except the door width. The door width is just too tight getting in and out.

Purchased a home 6 months ago That came with a American Standard liberation walk in tub that is only 3 years old. It worked when we moved in, but now none of the components work. It is under warranty for parts not labor and American Standard representatives were no help. Sent a box of parts but no recommendations on who to hire locally. (Terrible service and I will not be purchasing American Standard products any more). Have contacted many local plumbers and not one wants to work on a tub that they did not install. Have asked AS Support for help a number of times but have not been able to resolve. Want me to pay a guy to drive from over 5 hours away who wants travel costs. Crazy. Such poor customer service. At this point my only option seems to be to rip it out and install a regular tub.

I have been trying since a few days after the installation of my walk in tub to get someone to come repair the Shower Slider bar, which broke after 2nd attempt to take a standup shower (cheap piece of plastic - they should have better products). Then after another month the tub started "flipping the electrical switch" which is on the OUTSIDE of my house. I realized the bidet they installed along with the tub was not outfitted with a push button reset to make the electrical issue easily overcome with 5 steps from my tub to the bidet. So I need them to fix the electrical overload issues, and install the electrical outlet on the two bidets with the "push button" reset in the house so I'm not going outside to reset. The really huge complaint I have is that I have now called 7 times over the course of the last 80 days, spoken to various customer service people who promise to have CJ call me back (even contacted my sales rep for help, who was going to get his manager to respond) and after almost 3 months ABSOLUTELY NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY CALLS! One of the main reason I purchased this tub was for it's superior reputation (from years ago, that apparently is no more) for high quality product and excellent customer service. In fact the "lifetime warranty on parts AND LABOR" was a huge deciding factor for me. But, a Warranty on something that does not exist "Free Labor for the Life of the Tub" as I was sold, is completely WORTHLESS if the company doesn't back it up. If I had my chance for a DO OVER, I would avoid this company at all costs. If the tub ever completely shuts down on me, I'll be upset beyond belief if I can't get someone to help. The luxury of this type of tub and the HUGE EXPENSE deserves better customer service than what I am getting - wish I had gone with Kohler instead. I'm still waiting - hoping this review will get the attention of someone who really cares at American Standard - you can find me easily enough - I'm the one who will be calling Martin Taylor every morning from now on... 11-01-21 After 12 phone calls (I left a message with Martin Taylor every morning for 4 days and FINALLY spoke to an installer to come out and help me. Brenden from Louisiana was an angel and super knowledgeable! He fixed my shower slider, which started it all; updated my two Bidet electrical outlets with push RESET buttons; swapped out the electrical box from a 15 amp to 20 amp to keep it from tripping so much. Also figured out they didn’t install the drain tube in the section at the bottom of the door!! Standing water it seemed to me should drain and he said it should drain faster and found the tube hanging loose in the area where faucets are. The LifeTime Warranty is there, but it takes way too much work to get help. I pray I don’t have anymore problems with this setup. THANK YOU BRENDAN!!’

If I could give this company negative stars, I absolutely will. My mother is elderly, extremely mentally ill, whose physical health is in a sharp decline after having breast cancer, who takes care of her mentally and physically handicapped, wheelchair bound adult son. Her house is in great disrepair as she is retired and barely scraping by on her retirement income. She does not have money for expensive repairs. If she did, the first thing she would fix is the rotting walls that are falling down in her bathroom, NOT her tub. Her salesperson Deborah Navarre is obviously the bride of Satan. It does not take long when speaking with my mother, to know that she is not mentally stable. It does not take long to witness how she lives, to discern that she cannot, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, afford a tub that costs $15,000. I am currently trying to find a way to get her out of that house and into a care facility. She made this decision without the consent/consultation of her children. What kind of good human being, takes advantage of a sick, unstable, elderly woman and her wheelchair bound son?? Deborah Navarre is that person. Shame on you, Deborah, and shame on American Standard for looking the other way as their salespeople take advantage of elderly people. Deborah and owners of American Standard: Some day you will stand before God and give an account for all the harm you have done to people. My mother now has such limited funds, she can’t afford to feed herself and her son. Shame on you. I pray that you will make this right and come back there, take that hideous tub out of her bathroom, replace it with a regular CHEAP tub, fix the door frames that your associates ABSOLUTELY WRECKED, and refund her money. If you refuse, I will copy and paste this review on every single review site I can find, EVERY single day, for the rest of my life. I have already contacted the BBB and an elder abuse attorney to start a claim against Deborah. What you have done is sickening and dishonest and I beg you to do the right thing, for the sake of your own conscience and for the sake of your own soul.

I love the tub and it was installed when scheduled. However the shower glide bar was missing from the original crate. The installers ordered the missing part and said to call them when it arrived. The replacement was the wrong part. The installers told me I would need to call the factory to order the correct part ( I don’t think it was my responsibility to do this but I did and the correct part was delivered in a timely manner) Then it took three weeks and several phone calls to get an installer back to do the work. My primary complaint was this: The installer arrived without wearing a mask. I asked him if He was vaccinated and he said “No”. I asked if he had a mask and he pulled one out of his pocket and put it on. Had I not waited three weeks for this installation I would not have let him in my house. I am 86 years old and do not want to get COVID. His behavior was unacceptable. If I get COVID I will certainly know where I got it!

Installation staff are extremely unprofessional, lie to you constantly "sneak" off your work site and do a horrible job. I'm sitting here looking at a half-installed/damaged/unusable tub. After the installer and his unapproved "Assistant" he picked up off the street completely destroyed my house, garage and driveway with dirt, mud and leaves, I threw them out. We were going on 72 hours and he was no where near finished. I HAD TO CALL THE COPS - THE INSTALLER REFUSED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES. I HAD A WITNESS TO ALL OF THIS. I PAID $22,500 AND HAVE NOTHING BUT EMPTY PROMISES AND NO OPERABLE TUB OR "COMPLIMENTARY TOILET". DON'T DO IT. DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE ON HERE OF 5 STAR REVIEWS. THEY ARE FAKE. TRUST ME ON THIS. HAD I KNOWN THIS WOULD HAPPEN I WOULD NEVER HAVE COMMITTED TO OVER $22K FOR SOMETHING THAT IS NOT INSTALLED. THE STRESS ALONE ALMOST KILLED ME. I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY HEALTH AND IT HAS ADVERSELY AFFECTED MY BLOOD PRESSURE AND OTHER ISSUES. So I guess what many people on here who write about/claim American Standard takes advantage of the elderly is absolutely true. The 5 star reviews are obviously fake, coerced or complete lies in exchange for some form of compensation from American Standard. Can you believe this? $22.5 thousand dollars. And I spent $2,000 of my own money in advance to get the bathroom completely stripped as they carefully advised me. Even THAT information was not correct and will cost me even more in losses. Never again... Please don't let this happen to you or a loved one. It breaks my heart that this happened and my high blood pressure and anxiety levels have not abated from this debacle. UPDATE: Michael Light, who identifies himself as the National Director phoned me and very "cheerily" wanted to "understand" what "challenges" I encountered. I sent him photos, called him back, left him text messages. He couldn't be bothered. He has ghosted me. After that initial contact he has not responded to any of my pleas for communication. I guess he pockets a fat paycheck and the rest of us, especially the elderly who are disabled can all go to H*LL. That's the very strong feeling I get regarding him and his veiled attempt to make things right. UPDATE 2: My Salesperson is Nyla Bergam. Her business card says 'American Standard' on it. This is a lie - she works for Lilix/Safety Tubs, who are subsidiaries of American Standard. I don't know how she can sleep at night jilting disabled Seniors out of part of their remaining life savings. American Standard, too, should be ashamed of themselves for setting up this deceptive business model. People, you have no idea who you are dealing with. Lilix? Safety Tubs? I have no idea. Update 3: THIS IS IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: I hired an independent Electrician to inspect the work this immoral company did. HE FOUND A DANGEROUS SITUATION WITH THE WIRING. I had to pay out of pocket $150 to get the problem resolved. A small price to pay to prevent your home from possibly burning down.

Love this tub! I can sit and soak or use the jets to get my back to relax. The water stays warm the entire time which is better than a regular tub. Really like that it is easy to get in & out of the tub. No more stunning toes or bruising elbows that regular tubs caused me!

Small leak after original install. Installer returned and fixed the leak to my satisfaction.

The bottom of the shower is slippery. I slipped getting out of the shower and fell. Because I'm disabled, we had to call 911 for a non-emergency lift. It took several firemen to get me up off the floor. The bottom of the shower needs to be rougher and non-slip.

My tub eases my arthritis pain, which is why I wanted it. The installers neglected to tighten a fitting before filling the tub for the first time resulting in water leaking and leaving a stain on my kitchen ceiling below. When it dried, the installer came back and touched up the paint. I can still see the spot, but visitors don't notice, so I am satisfied.

Hard to think of anything we don't like about this tub; we even found a way for both of us to fit in it! The features are awesome and it's super easy to clean and we use it regularly... great decision to purchase from American Standard.

Have been trying to get our walk in tub fixed for several months! Have received parts and called many times, last time I was told I should hear from them hopefully that day. That was three weeks ago I called again today and left yet another message. I have never received such bad service from any company!
