Really great service from Alexanders - from planning my move as the dates moved several times to the actual packing and moving which was all done with no stress on my part. The guys were helpful and polite - would recommend the company again anytime.

Andrew M. was our point of contact at Alexanders: couldn't ask for more. He was friendly, professional, on top of every detail, and went out of his way to keep us both involved and informed throughout the entire move. As if moving wasn't stressful enough, our move date was unavoidably delayed with less than a weeks' notice. What could have been a disaster was handled brilliantly by Andrew; goods moved to secure storage at short notice, crews re-booked for the deferred move date, our initial payments credited for the new date and additional costs kept to an absolute minimum (nothing beyond the storage charges). There was zero pressure and no advantage taken; rather, Andrew did everything he could to set our minds at ease. Couldn't recommend him more highly. The move crews on the day were very good; hard-working, friendly, engaged in what they were doing. Alexanders was not the cheapest quote we sourced, but they were worth every additional penny when the move date went awry. Ask for Andrew if you can get him!

The guys at Alexanders were fantastic. The removal manager checked in with me several times prior to the move to make sure I had everything I needed. On the day itself, the guys arrived on time and were extremely efficient. They were courteous and friendly with my family and very respectful of all belongings and especially my new house!

Having moved 10 times in 20 years we were well prepared, organised and clear in our instructions. The move was carried out exactly as planned, with a professional and dedicated removals team, who were also charming and went the extra mile in everything. The office back-up is attentive, helpful and responsive. They moved expensive/delicate antiques with care and respect; the move was completed on time and according to plan. To be highly recommended.

I used Alexanders to move my things from one flat into storage and then later from storage into a new property. This is a stressful time but A gave me reassurance on all aspects and performed admirably. the team that moved me as well as the office staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They were expensive, and almost worth it--hence 4*'s.

mine wasn't the easiest of moves: I lived in west London with poor parking and my flat was at the end of a long corridor , accessed via a small lift! I was moving down to sussex and the property wasn't ready when we arrived so it was all a bit of a challenge ! the team were really great : really 'can do' and very efficient!! nothing was too much trouble nor insurmountable - they were fantastic!!

This is the second time we have used Alexanders to do our office move. They were not the cheapest nor most expensive company we approached for quotes but they were clear about what we needed to think about prior to the move. Most items were things we had already considered but one or two were new to us. This gave us greater confidence in their ability to do our last move which went very well. This time we are in the process of planning our move and do not have a date yet. They have been friendly and flexible throughout, keeping in touch to make sure they provide the service we need.

Alexanders were extremely professional and organised. From the pre-move survey until the last box was unbacked and our crates collected, there were couteous and helpful and extremely hard-working. Though our quote was not the cheapest one, the service was definitely worth paying for! It was a pleasure to have Alexanders help us move and I will definitely be recommending them to our friends in the future and will be using them again for our next move!

came in and knew what they needed to do. fast and efficient packing (havent yet unpacked so cant comment on any breakage rate but!) and helped sort out the parking for me too

they came on time, finished on time. they broke a lamp, which wqas paid back within 2 weeks. they are not the cheapest in the amrket, but they are reliable and one needs to trust who handles personal stuff.. i would use them again..hopefully not soon as i cant face another move, but if i had too, for sure!
