We have been with Acuity for 16 years and couldn’t be happier. They have always been very professional and personable. Unfortunately we had 2 problem (both concerning flooding basement) and both times we were back with a finished basement within a week. We wouldn’t have any other insurance!
I was very pleased to experience a decline in rates during the pandemic, for we certainly drove many fewer miles because of our restrictive social and vacation schedule.

Website wants to have all your personal information so that they can pull your credit report. I submitted my info as a guest user and received a quote of $3000.00 per year, based on 250K coverage with a 1000.00 deductible. The privacy policy on the website does not state how long my personal information will be retained or the data retention policy ( this is bad, because they (Acuity) can suddenly change their internal policy and share your information with third parties )
This is the company that you want to partner with, if you are an independent agent. This is the company that you hope will be adjusting any claim that you may (g-d forbid) have to make. I have not known of a fairer or more reliable insurance company in my 50+ years as an independent agent. I wish I could place all of my policyholders with Acuity. We'd all sleep more soundly.

I've always thought they were extremely expensive. After years year after year of them raining rates so high . I finally looked into other options. We found another company and got it for half price. So we paid our last bill and canceled. Unfairly they sent us another bill for $537.54 for switching to another company. Totally not cool. I would highly recommend not using acuity. Message me and I'll give you a more affordable option
A workmanship claim was made against my business. Acuity responded promptly and thoroughly to resolve the claim truthfully.
I have not had to use my insurance as of yet so I really cannot say. The prices are good as I have a bundle package with car and home.
The rates are reasonable but we have never filed a claim and have had no interaction with the company.
I got in my first claimable accident in 37 years. It was my fault. Alex at Acuity was great. I went out of my way to write this review because I wanted to give 5 stars and explain that the reason was there was NOTHING I thought could be improved upon. It was all so easy. I felt bad because other insurance companies collected my premium for 35 years and Acuity only for 2 and now has paid out. I will remember all this at premium payment time.
Great service at a competitive price. I especially like being able to combine my homeowners, auto, atv, and umbrella coverages in one policy.
We (my wife and I) have been Acuity customers for over 20 years. Our last claim was in 2015, involving the replacement of my hearing aids under our homeowners part of our policy. Acuity responded immediately to our call, answered all of our concerns and efficiently provided coverage for replacement that was part of our policy. It could not have been simpler or more efficiently handled. We feel very secure knowing that Acuity "has our back". I truly believe that good insurance is more than "a cheap rate"...it also includes a lot of trust in a proven corporate entity that appreciates and respects ins customers.
This company is HORRIBLE!!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!! My husband and I were in a car wreck on September 8, 2021, in Ogden, Utah. The person who hit us from behind is insured by this company and they are trying to LIE and get out of paying for what they caused!!! Traffic cameras and the police report DO NOT LIE!!! This company will be paying for my pain, suffering, medical, loss of wages, emotional distress, etc. I HATE THIS COMPANY!!!!! When I first spoke with them they told me they would love to earn my business when I get my next car....THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! I would NEVER give a company my business that is so DISHONEST and can't take responsibility for what their client did. I would stay FAR AWAY from Acuity Insurance!!!!!!!!!
