On January 2nd ,2022 our one million btu gas boiler would start and immediately shoot flames out the front of the boiler. It would eventually shut down on its own. I tried restarting it several times with the same result. I called our service technician who worked on the boiler for 8 hours disassembling the unit to get at the heat exchanger among other things and eventually was able to get it to run although not efficiently. He determined that steam apparently leaked into the gas firing part of the unit and over time destroyed most of the gas burner units. None of this was apparent from the exterior of the boiler. At any rate he determined that the system could not be brought back to any level of efficiency other than to attempt to nurse it through until a replacement could be installed. Acuity insurance Co., thank God, determined they would cover the replacement of a new system as well as several thousand dollars in replacement parts and labor to nurse along the old one till the new unit could be installed. Not being an expert in boiler technology I may not have used the proper terminology to explain how this boiler failure occurred but there is no question it was a catastrophe for our little business without Acuity stepping in to essentially cover these costs. I mentioned Thanking God earlier but it is Acuity that we want to thank for the great service we received.

Due to a devastating car accident truck was totaled.Acuity reacted immediately to my phonecall people were very caring.My husband had couple of hospital stays plus our truck only had liability that is a lot of work for the client.Acuity was keeping me calm THANK YOU

Been with Acuity for over 30 years. No complaints. Excellent agents and company representatives. We've had several claims which were handled outstanding by Acuity. Have no negative comments!!!!

I did not use performance as a criteria. I gave you 4 stars after comparing Acuity's business idiosyncrasy's to those of carriers I have used in the past. Some carriers seem to make things that are actually simple more and more complicated. Some of the best advise I ever got was "Never be more trouble than you're worth". You folks appear to have gotten that memo to a point which got you the 4 stars.

I am currently looking for another provider. Acuities rates are too high and they keep rising every year. I'll be looking for a company that will reward me for being accident and ticket - free and reward me for all of the safety features that my auto has. On my house, you penalized me for a roofing claim on my last house and a previous roofing claim on my current house that happened before i even looked at or occupied the house. i am looking for a company that is more consumer-friendly with their rates.

Acuity always has great customer service. Our agent Robertson and Ryan keep us informed if we need to add coverage and they make changes immediately when we call in to make changes.

We have been with Acuity for several years and I can't come up with anything negative about this company. If you have any questions, there is always someone to answer them. Their customer service is far better than the 5 star rating that I gave them. Very pleased with this insurance company and the people that work for them.

Best price quote in texas for one owner operator,,, Had good experience with acuity thru my claims , and the employee was good on keeping me informed on the claims. Just had to go thru three different claim adjusters get finished it was a good experience, each adjuster had their pacific part of the claim to study, it all fair ……

Had a water leak under a concrete slab floor, very stressful. The claims adjuster that I had was Josh Tegen, very nice and helpful. The job is finished and I’m expecting a check soon and I was very satisfied with the way Acuity handled things for me.

I have been with Acuity for several years. In that time I Have asked myself, If I am such a valuable customer, why are they increasing my premiums every year? Is there a discount for senior citizens with an excellent driving record? I feel the charges are high!

Someone didn't make our house payment into our escrow account. We were cancelled. HUB, through Acuity got right on it & got it paid & we were immediately reinstated. We were very pleased with Acuity & HUB!!
