We all of course hope to not have accidents and collisions, but in reality its when we do, though hopefully not serious, that we find out how our insurance will take care of us. For me, I had only one accident in which a piece of my equipment moved inside my van enough to shatter my rear window. Acuity was quick to help with where to go and what to expect in getting the repair. It was all taken care of in a couple of days and I was good to go. I also think they actually helped me out some years ago when I broke a customers front door glass with taking a piece of equipment inside. Same deal, fast and easy solution for me and the customer. Hopefully you'll have the same experience when dealing with Acuity.

They are professionals that serve their clients. Acuity Insurance Company seems well organized and connected to their agents. If I had a question, Acuity came back with an answer, and were flexible in accommodating our Company.
We submitted a claim for water damage over the weekend and received a call around 8:00AM Monday morning from our adjuster and the case was assigned to a field adjuster within the hour. The field adjuster responded to the property location before noon. We were very pleased with the quick response.

So far I haven't had any.claims but my rate still goes up.
I have been with Acuity for many years and never had a claim for my small business as subcontractor costs and material costs go up i am being charge more for the same number of projects and no changes in the company other than out going expenses. I would hope that my companies past record would come into consideration, but I guess it's all about money. I am required to have insurance and they set the rules.

I have been with Acuity personal insurance for about 5 years. I was an insurance agent for 40 years and used Acuity Commercial Insurance often to successfully write the business because the underwriters were eager to help agents. I like regional carriers because they care about their customers. Often National carriers do not give the same consideration to their customers.. I previously was with a regional carrier for 30 years on my personal insurance. All was good with them until they sold to an East Cost Conglomerate. Then cost and customer service went awry. Acuity was my first choice and I will stay with them as long as they continue to listen to customers who pay their wages and contribute to their financial health..
Great to work with, my independent agent finds them to be best priced for the coverage for the total auto, home and umbrella. Claims have been easily processed.
