I've selected five stars although I had no reason to do so. Since our cars have been insured with Acuity, I've had no claims or reason for interaction. BUT, I've been outraged at the behavior of the Wisconsin state legislature and its threats to remove from office a state supreme court justice for nothing but being a member of an opposing political party. Should that happen, I will do my best to not support all things Wisconsin. Cheese, of course comes to mind, and I will have to take a serious look before I would renew insurance that involves mailing a check to a Wisconsin company. May cooler heads prevail in Madison.
Rates are too high especially for seniors on a fixed income and a bedridden wife at home.
Easy to work with and can make changes on their website. Had claim and adjustor was very thorough and explained everything well.
We just got started with Acuity. Don't have an opinion at this time.
The majority of claims in the commercial insurance industry are from insured who have a long history of losses. There are 10-15% of insured companies that have stellar records with no losses or claims, yet the industry actuaries view these companies as more likely to have a claim using statistics that do not factor in the culture and leadership of the insured. The industry rewards the poorly run companies with high losses by making the companies without claims subsidize the poor companies through higher premiums. Makes my blood boil every time I get an email from Acuity trying to tell me how to prevent losses and run my business!
Outrageous premium increase without any substantive claims - seemingly retribution for a one-time claim in the first year of the policy. Acuity is the prettiest ugly girl at the insurance carrier dance.
Prompt service and seamless repair process
You did what you were supposed to do.
No problems with renewal. Have never made a claim so no opinion on how that would go
Coverage was on spot, price was good, service was great!!
Acuity is always prompt and great to work with.
I haven't had an experience with Acuity for years. Their price is reasonable.
Acuity keeps me up to date on everything I don't have to worry about missing a payment as they are on top of me weeks prior to due dates. and their agents help out when asked.
Immediately responsive and professional!
My business was with Acuity for 3 and 3months. 1st year audit was simple. They then became increasingly invasive after and a real hassle for a 2 person operation. Acuity then tried to raise our rates even though our business hadnt grown or changed after the 1st year. We pay each year in full and when they raised our rates (year 3) we found a different company and cancelled. They then served us another audit for the 3months they covered us and refunded us less than HALF of the yearly premium we paid. Scam company and waste of time. I hate to know what the claim process would be like
Knowledgeable service from the rep and home office, a user friendly website, and good communication.
Coverage is good and prices are reasonable
Impressed with Agency Owner!qqqq
The ease and satisfaction knowing that you're in a great family company that's been around for a longtime. Thank you "Acuity" for always being there when we needed you the most.
Why do you keep raising rates when everything is so high already? Just how much do you think the elderly people get for income when they can barely afford groceries. Why was home owners raised also? May be looking for a cheaper rate.
