I made the mistake of letting a roofing company file a claim because one shingle was missing on my roof. In retaliation for filing a claim, the adjustor falsely claimed the roof was deteriorated and said a storage shed and above ground pool needed to be removed. Because I filed a claim, they decided not to renew my policy of several years
I bought a homowners policy that came with a lot of unnecessary stuff that I don't need or want but they would not just sell me a straight forward home fire and liability policy so they can double the premium with stuff I don't want or need. When I went to renew I found this out as well as the fact that the info I gave them was incorrect on the poicy. When I told them to change it they increased the premium by $51. I wanted to discuss this but could not do it through the website or their customer service but had to call a long distance number or email and "agent" I didn't even know I had. No one answered the phone call or my emails. When I called Acuity back to cancel the policy they said I had to write them a letter. The worse customer service I've ever encountered and I doubt whether they are a legitimate businees or just a scam and fraud. Apparently, complaining on Trustpilot WORKS! Acuity has heard my complaint about items on my policy that I didn't want and HAS REDUCED MY PREMIUM BY $207. This is something I didn't expect and no other insurance company would do that. I am staying with Acuity and happily paying the reduced premium. THANKS TRUSTPILOT AND THANKS ACUITY!
Absolutely ridiculous you have to inspect all homes over 250k. You disrupt us property owners and the tenants. All other companies have apps and or send videos. More insane is having multiple inspectors do houses in the same city.
We needed to update our coverage on cars taken out of stop. Easy phone call to Acuity. Friendly customer service.
Had wind damage to asphalt shingle roof. Claims department readily agreed to replace all roofing shingles and underlayment.
Acuity has been managing my Business Insurance for many years and I am very grateful for their expertise and services.
After a hail storm I contacted my agent. A claim was opened that day and a damage accessor was at my home very quickly. After the accessor completed his work he took time to explain what he saw and what was going to happen next for me. I was notified within a week buy Dylan, who was assigned to my case. I was issued a check promptly from Acuity with a letter showing what damage is to be replaced and if their was any problem I should contact Dylan. After seeing how all the associates worked together so quickly, I felt very relieved that this team was was working for me.
Fast responsive and professional on a claim I had.
Application process and payment plan was very helpful. Personnel are very kind and informative.
I don’t like the $10 a month increase in monthly payment. I’ve never had any accidents. I realize everything is going up in costs, but you asked.
Great communication every time. I appreciate the time and effort Acuity takes to make sure I understand my needs and coverage.
Excellent customer service
Communicate any changes in a timely fashion and the rates are reasonable for the coverage received.
I have been disappointed for the last 2 years so. I have accounts that needs insurance certificates updates when necessary and it is almost impossible to reach my representative, definitely not by phone or email, I will end up getting someone who will assist me but it is very frustrating that I can’t reach the one assigned to me.
have been a customer for several years now, pricing is very competitive, staff is friendly and helpful at all times. easy to reach and quick to respond. i have no negatives about your company.
Terrible Experience with this company. Services we promote so we can call our subcontractors to do work. They dropped us cause its not what they cover. However we don’t do the work. We are a general contractor so we promote everything for a customer under one roof and sub out what we don’t do or covered under insurance. My co company hauled Brush in a dump trailer and they were dropped for hauling brush. I would not recommend this company.
I’ve never had a problem with you. But i find it strange that every time i get a new car my rates keep going up. I have never turned in a claim so I find this a bit unusual. Presently i think my rates are far too high.
Attention to detail
EVERYTHING WAS OK, VERY PROMPT ATTENTION. THE ONLY THING THAT I DID NOT AGREE WAS THAT THE CHECK WAS DONE IN MY NAME AND THE NAME OF THE WORKSHOP. THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO DO
Your claims agent screwed up. I had an incident where another person put in a claim on my policy. I called and said the claim was invalid and should not be paid. Insurance fraud. Because it was only 1.500 dollars. The agent decided to pay it without challenge. The result was my insurance rate went up. Horrible customer service when you should be representing me, not person who filed a false claim. Looking elsewhere.
