Not sure what recent experience you're referring to. We have always had great service from Acuity and from our agent, who we've been with since we purchased our first house in 1976.

Got a policy from Acuity and they requested a minor thing to be completed on the home. We completed it within 3 days of notice on the Dec 17 and sent pictures and then on the 21st of Dec they mailed us a check for the home policy stating cancelled we received it on December 26 and it stated we are cancelled on the 31st. Well hard to get a policy in 4 days. We have 2 vehicles and 2 homes insuranced with them. This is such poor service and is NOT our Agents fault it is Acuity! . Our agent says I just wanted to let you know that upon receiving the photos of the repairs, I immediately sent those to underwriting. I received confirmation from underwriting that they were received within the same business day. I have also spoken with our underwriter and confirmed that the home policy was reinstated without lapse. The cancellation notice you received was most likely automated. The policy is active and will not be cancelled. If you’d like to call me

We have a good local agent/agency that I trust. They handle my concerns in a timely manner and have a quality company to back them when needed. Any company can collect the premium - quality companies respond to our needs in a timely manner. I have found Acuity Insurance is a quality company.

Acuity is in the top 6 of insurers according to Consumer Reports. I have complete confidence in my agent. This year my insurance cost went down a few dollars as opposed to going up hundreds. One of the things I appreciate is that I can pay up front for an entire year on car insurance. With the other insurers you only have the option of paying for 6 months, there is always an increase.

We had a home owner claim several months ago involving a leaking shower. The claim was handled in a timely and professional manner. Insurance is only good when you need it and it's there for you.

I have had no claims, so there is no experience to report on that is crucial to my satisfaction or lack thereof. I do not like the billing system, I have had items removed due to an error that never have shown on any screens that I see and have had to call to find out what was going on, where somebody gets to look at something I never can and tell me not to worry, the overcharge was erased.

I like the seasonal email reminders of things to do to prevent a claim, and extra steps to be taken as the seasons change. Great Company, Helpful Reminders, and easy to work with!

Whenever I need to update my policy or need some information, I contact my agent at Muskego Insurance and I get my needs met by the agent or by a member of the Acuity staff. The experience is always prompt, pleasant and professional.

Recently had to have the roof replaced due to hail damage. Acuity sent an independent adjuster due to the high volume of claims. His assessment was fast, correct and thorough. Received a check from Acuity within days of their receiving the report. No hassle, no hoops to jump through, just fast, easy completion. Recommending Acuity to my friends

I don’t know my agent. When I call to ask a question, I get someone different each time. My insurance keeps going up and I have had no claims. I am retired and can’t afford these insurance rates. I wish I could get an evaluation each year but get nothing until the bill increases and they send me a bill. Time to look for a different insurance company.

The policy details were clearly explained. The cost increase was not welcomed, but is understandable given the rising costs of construction materials. The agent was very helpful.

Prompt, efficient service on recent claim. Easy process to renew policies. Only reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 was rate increase. Understand that industry cost and claims experience are rising but thought annual increase was a bit too much.

As far as getting quotes and paying my bill it all went great. I have never had to file a claim yet so that's when we'll find out how good the total experience would be.
