Building E, Prime Point, Dandy Bank Road, Pensnett Estate, DY6 7TD, Kingswinford, GB
Phenomenal service. Stylish, a necessity for easy accessibility and mobility. Impressive. Courteous and mindful team. Makes day-to-day living easier. Overall a great success. Installation stress-free.
Lift ordered in February. delays were probably unavoidable but communication from Stiltz was appalling..lift broke down on day 2 or 3. it was fixed promptly. UPS ordered at same time as lift, didn't arrive. No apology or explanation. i had to make numerous phone calls. When box finally arrived it was suggested the new floor needed to come up again! it didn't have to come up in the end but the socket that was installed with the lift with the electric cable hanging quite away from the lift (they don't show you that cable in marketing pictures) was removed and replaced and ceiling had to be filled and painted. The permanent fan on UPS box makes a constant noise. they dont tell you that either! Engineers were pretty helpful but service from office and organisation is dreadful. Complaints person however was very helpful and sympathetic.
The Builders came in for 4 days and although it was very noisy and disruptive as we had no access to the upper floor the team were very friendly, respectful and extremely helpful. When they had finished they left everything spick and span. We enjoyed their company. The lift was fitted the following week in one day. Everything was explained very clearly with trial runs. We have found the lift ideal for our disability problems and are enjoying using it. satisfactory in all respects.
The actually lift and the installation process was very good it’s undoubtedly a very good product, however the after sales support isn’t as good as it could be, it seems like once you’ve paid standards slip
Not at all to do with the work/works of Stiltz i believe and it looks like a very professional company . I am Concerned today about what type of people you hire , myself being 19 and a new driver should not of had the experience i had today. Unfortunately today on the way home from work in London I came across a STILTZ 70 plate van that didn't understand how to use a roundabout. The Driver of this van , that i will find out about very soon as i plan to complain , thought it would be a great idea whilst driving his STILTZ Van representing the company to cut me off several times on the A127 using all the inappropriate language out the window towards me , bullied and pushed me out of my lane several times nearly into the gaurd rail in the middle of the motorway. Im sure all the traffic behind me could see this amazing driving taking place and thought what a great company. i hope i will receive a call tomorrow from the office as have given my number and hopefully this 45 year old man can take his driving test again. kind regards , Luke
Delighted with my Stiltz Homelift. More than exceeded my expectations as it is fare less intrusive than I expected as it spends 90% of the day upstairs out of sight
It would be difficult to fault Stiltz Homelifts. We've had one for over a month now and it's been as good as it promised to be in every respect. In fact it gets used more than I had expected. I thought it might be a little jerky starting off and had a handle fitted but it's very smooth: you can carry a cup of tea and not hold on it's that smooth a ride. Installation staff were very good: there's no mess. All the bits and pieces are parceled up and collected the next day. What would I improve? I'd prefer to be able to press the lift button once instead of having to keep my thumb on the button all the while I want the lift to move. I'd like a system that seals the gap between the lift carriage and the insert when it's on the upper floor. We have friends who have a traditional style lift. The Stiltz lift looks far superior. It's a design statement rather than something to be hidden away. If you have space for a home lift and can afford one, a Stiltz lift must set the standard against which others should be judged. We would certainly buy the same lift again. Post script. I wrote this review when we'd had the lift for a little over a month when it was all shiny and new in our lives. I'm adding this note four months later to say that we've had no issues with the lift and it's become part of our lives now. If you tried to take it away, we'd fight tooth and nail to keep it.
The Stiltz lift is an absolute God send. Thank you Stiltz for the quality of your engineers and cleanliness throughout the installation process.
We have had a fire seal wheelchair lift fitted. The lift it’s self is absolutely amazing. My husband is now able to get to the second floor of our house, which he was unable to do before. The installers were absolutely amazing. They explained everything from start to finish. They were very very tidy. They worked tirelessly to complete the work within the 4 day time frame. I can not praise John and Stuart enough. Thank you
Service from start to finish PERFECT. Everything replaced and left clean and tidy. My lift is perfect for me and even my little dog uses it when she is feeling lazy and fancies a ride. I cannot praise everyone enough for their efficiency professionalism and helpfulness. Nothing too much trouble. Everyone who has seen it are very impressed . The workmen were the best I have come across for a long time. Thank you.
Absolutely wonderful top marks for lift and service thank you
Titis is to update my two previous reviews. The company is taking action to get the permit needed. Very responsive. I look forward to having my Stiltz lift put in soon!!!
I don’t think they do permits, so maybe their product doesn’t meet the stringent safety requirements of the permitting process. In my county, a permit is required, and it has been seven months now since I paid them the first half.
Our lift, installed last year, has been in constant use daily ever since.Every contact with Stiltz has been friendly, efficient and professional. We live in a house with high Victorian ceilings and with a washbasin in the upstairs room so that plumbing too had to be negotiated, but the whole team worked with cheerful competance. We look forward to being able to demonstrate the lift to our friends when indoor visits are allowed again. Completed on Friday 13th of March 2020 just before "lockdown" it has proved the most lucky transformation of our house. Our thanks to all at Stiltz. K. and V. Pearce, Buxton
Given me a whole new level of independence. Would recommend without doubt.
Installation took 4 days and the men antebellum and pleasant. And their Workmanship excellent. The lift is unobtrusive and easy to use.. I have age proofed my house. These should be installed in all new builds along with p.v.panels
The men doing the work couldn’t have been more helpful. Hard working & considerate. The company helped throughout the process we have no complaints and love our lift. Thankyou.
This lift is absolutely super even Alfie loves it. Alfie is our 13 year old Goldendoodle who has a heart murmer. The only problem we have had was when the carpet fitter did our new carpet above the lift he made it to tight. However your engineer sorted it out in 10mins. Eric Jean and Alfie Brereton
An excellent investment - life changing for me!
Very neat and looks good. Quick installation with really nice engineers. They gave confidence and reassurance if we had any problems. The lift is very quick with easy access. We have a wheelchair lift which is invaluable to us as Peter is disabled and can now go upstairs.
