The Lift: Duo Vista The Installation: 4 days in July 2021; expertly and professionally installed between our lounge and second bedroom, especially creating the hole in the ceilng/floor. There was no damage to the surroundings and all rubbish from the installation was cleared away and the site left clean and tidy. The two installers were both friendly and helpful, answering all our questions to our satisfaction. The Verdict: The lift has been working perfectly now for some 6 months and does all we require. It is a fine piece of engineering, well built and finished and fits in well. Apart from transporting us between floors it acts as a very useful “dumb waiter”. Above all it’s great fun to use! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Staff were all very friendly. Our installation had a part that was wrong so needed an extra day but the company rushed up the new part as quickly as they could. Very happy with the lift, its reasonably quiet and the best bit is that it takes up little space.

We have just had your most wonderful product installed with no hassle into our home and the difference you cannot put into words. The installation with the most polite crew of engineers working very cleanly and giving both my wife and I no bother at all. Every thing clearly explained showing us parts which one could see was of top quality. After each day they were here we felt really lucky to have decided to have one put in. We give them and the back up from the office 101% it was a joy having them in our home. As for me my own loss is I have lost the memory of chasing my girl up the stairs but one can dream. The entire experience we had with Stiltz was first class. They were efficient, prompt, punctual and courteous. We are very pleased with our lift which not only makes life easier but it is a stylish addition to our home.

So, first contact with Stilz sales team was great,ones the contract was signed it has gone downhill from there...started the process in July, 4 technical surveyors later, by the mid August we finally received technical report signed July 21st, not sure why the other surveyors were there. We paid second installment asap to move quickly. Yet another surveyor visiting beginning of September... finally got them booked for September 29th, they started the job, very neatly however it was in the wrong place...the good news, ones alerted they adjusted it immediately, (credit where credit is due) although it was still not accurate. We were then told the lift was being fitted. Then several times in October it was going to be installed, when they were finally on side they disappeared again. Finally after lots of chasing, they were booked in for today. Guess what obviously it hasn't worked out again. After chasing Stilz again the Customer Service Manager finally returned the call and they are refusing to fit the lift because it’s too much of a building site. Our project manager was twice on site today and spoken at length with the installer and he never mentioned this issue/excuse. We had an extension build, it's the outdoors where stuff is still lying around but the indoors where the lift needs to be installed was made specially dustfree and left neat as requested. I am really disappointed but most of all just sad. My husband can't get upstairs without it installed and every time we get our hopes up....come on Stilz, work with me, make it happen!!! I would like this review to have a happy end and more start sooner rather than later!!

Very good service from planning to installation

The Stiltz lift installed is exactly what we needed, and most useful for also taking upstairs various items which we can no longer carry upstairs unaided. Your staff have all been first class - approachable, helpful, and ensuring that we were kept well informed at every stage of the development. We consider a lift such as this to be the shape of the future, especially for people needing walking assistance. Whereas chair lifts can be rather worrisome, and also diminish ones use of the upstairs of a house. Our grateful thanks to all of you, for your friendly helpfulness and support. Incidentally we have never before been given a gift for placing an order. So thank you for this also, and finally finding the Stiltz Lift comes complete with a mobile phone, to enable us to ring directly for assistance, if needed, is excellent.

We had the lift installed because we wanted to move to a bungalow but couldn't find one so decided to buy a house with the view of installing a Stiltz Lift

Ours turned out to be a difficult installation because of an unexpected RSJ found by the Stiltz surveyor just where we wanted the lift. However, the Stiltz team and their builders did a fantastic job in finding a way round this and managed to meet our wishes. We are delighted with the result which means we no longer have to take our lives in our hands as we did when we had to struggle up stairs.

Well what can I say, from that first contact with the Sales Team, the service was brilliant. The initial personal contact was stress free, he introduced himself, was polite and respectful. No pressure was put upon me to make a decision or sign up for the lift. He explain every thing clearly, answered a few questions I had, gave me time and his full attention. The following day I duly signed up for the Stiltz Duo +, imagine my surprise a few days later to receive a Letter Hamper thanking me for the order, this was shared with friends who could not believe such a gift for placing an order. I was really impressed with the support and written information I received from the After Sales Team both verbally and the What Happens Now document. The Technical and Asbestos Surveys were completed again with the same respect for my property. I was given a date for the installation, which was adhered too. The Lift was eventual installed on the 27th July through to the 30th, the installation guys were amazing. Arrived on time and completed full days. They respected my property and explained everything as they went along. Would you believe even treated me to Fish and Chips for lunch on the 29th. The 30th was my birthday, not only was the lift fully installed, they presented me with a birthday cake, card and flowers absolutely amazing. Since installation, I have gained my whole house back. I live on my own, so in the mornings on getting up, I would deal with anything upstairs, because once I was downstairs will not go back up until bedtime. Then it would be crawling up one step at a time. Anything that needed carrying up I would have to rely on a neighbour. I thank God and all at Stiltz every night for the Lift, it has enabled me to be completely independent, because of this I know my well being and self-esteem has improved. Following installation three neighbours came in, (was curious having seen the Stiltz Vans) wanting to see the lift. All were really impressed with the elegance of it and the small footprint that it takes up. One was considering the possibility of having one installed. A dear friend of mine, was again really impressed, she contacted the Sales Team, a Sales Representative came to see her and the rest is history. She is awaiting installation within the next month. Now someone else who really appreciates the Lift is my three legged cat. He will wait by the lift in the morning and at night. Who can blame him when you can get up and down stairs in style!!. Very Satisfied Customer.

I love my lift! The Stiltz installers - engineers, electrician and carpenter - were courteous and efficient, and left the place spotless. The company installed in the time they promised, and one or two minor glitches were sorted speedily and efficiently, without question, and everything is perfect. They take pride in their work, and in the product, and want the best for the customer. I do not need to use it all the time for myself, but it has the advantage of being very useful to send items that are difficult to carry up and downstairs, such as the vacuum cleaner, or a basket of washing. When well I can use the stairs to get exercise, but when not so good, I have the lift. It fits perfectly in the stairwell, and is surprisingly unobtrusive. I love the fact that I can see all around as I quietly ascend and descend. This is a great investment.

We are very pleased with the lift and with the standard of workmanship. The only disappointment was the door in the garage that opened into the lift room was just too short for the door of the lift to open fully. We have to open the door lift as far as it will go, then, put one foot out to open the door that opens into the garage. Had the wall on one side been a few inches longer the door of the lift would have opened fully. We have a long tandem garage, so space was no problem. Other than that, we have nothing but praise for the workmen.
