This review would have been 5 Stars in relation to the purchasing of my mothers through floor lift. The process of buying the lift was seamless,the company was very helpfull and were fast to respond to any questions I may have had. Having bought the lift, I can only describe the company's after sales service as being disappointing. Several phone calls, although answered immediately,was bounced around from one department to another. One particular maintenance call, as the lift was not working correctly, answered straight away, then waited 14hrs for the engineer to call back. Would I recommend this company, NO, it could have been my elderly mother it that unuseable lift.

My lift has been installed in my West Australian home. I have been disappointed. The ascend/descend controls are too sensitive to slight changes in pressure. Consequently, on many trips, the lift stops part-way and the control has to be pushed again. Secondly, on about one in twenty ascents, the lift stops too early so the door will not open; I have to descend several feet and then re-ascend.

This is excellent. Has given us both back our independence. I no longer have to be helped up and down the stairs and Rod is free to get on with all his own work.

Good experience from start to finish. Andy and Mike had to overcome a few problems but sorted everything to make sure all was good. Had the lift a few weeks now and loving it, one of our best investments.

Before the warranty expired the lift broke down with me in it. I had to be rescued. Stiltz repair engineer commented on the poor installation that the crooked alignment, demonstrated by uneven wear, caused the cable to snap. Stiltz failed to answer our email, but sought £595 pa Service Agreement (SA). The salesman phoned several times applying pressure to sign the SA. To date we have had no answer to our complaint.

I have recently had a Stiltz home lift fitted - the trio wheelchair/3 people lift. My husband and I are amazed at the design technology and engineering skills that went into designing this. It is perfect in every way. It has a small footprint,can fit almost anywhere, and when the lift is on the opposite floor to you, all you see are 2 slimline pillars. Inside is full of safety mechanisms, lights, phone and infrared beam which stops lift if you stick your arms over the half height door. Having a half height door means you don't feel closed in and travel is rapid 23 seconds from getting in, door locking, travelling up and getting out again. About a quarter of the time a stair lift would take on our 2 bend staircase. All in all a first class piece of kit that will enable us to stay in our homes. As retired doctors who specialised in disability, this is one of the best things we have seen in adapted equipment.

I would highly recommend this company. The workmen that carried out the work were efficient and polite. They finished it earlier than predicted. The lift has changed my husbands life.

The process in buying and installing the lift was done care and diligence to detail . The installers explained what they were doing and why and left the house clean and tidy after each day . The after sales staff were keen to make sure we were 100% happy with the result .

Had a Stiltz Duo + installed in December 2021. Philip Hall was the lead Builder/Installer and he and his team of Jason and Jay did a magnificent job on preparing the house to take the lift, keeping everything clean, neat and tidy at end of each of the 5 days it took to complete. When he left it looked as if the lift had always been in the house with no trace whatsoever that it had been recently fitted. When we ordered in July, Stiltz gave us an installation date of 10th of December and at 9 a.m. on the 10th Jason knocked on our door to begin the installation. We have had no problems with the lift since installation and its operation is a dream. Finally, 2 hours after the team left finally, all the packaging and crating from the lift was picked up by a waste disposal firm our Stiltz team had laid on. Outstanding product, first class installation process and personnel. One minor bad point:- Getting the Sales team to take our enquiry seriously and overcoming their reluctance to undertake our project. This caused us to look at all the other lifts on the market, most of who were happy to undertake our project: however we kept coming to the conclusion that the Stiltz product was the best for us. So to overcome their reluctance, I had to involve the local Building Regs control to persuade Stiltz own consultant Building Regs person that our proposal was perfectly acceptable to my Local Authority and then Stiltz sent in their surveyor who stated he was puzzled by the Sales areas/ Building Regs consultant reluctance undertake to our project. So folks keep at them!

Helpful, Constructive and effective from day one through to handover. Did everything we expected and we are delighted with how it has all turned out - from design, build quality, installation, placement and now actual operation is a game-changer.

The whole process from start to finish was extremely efficient. There were no hidden extras or surprises with everything being explained in great detail. So we were relaxed and comfortable with the process from start ro finish. There was some building mess but that was ro be expected but the builders cleaned up everyday. We love our lift and everyone who comes says it is stylish and impressive especially when the lights come on!!

Excellent product solves our mobility issue with the stairs. Fitting was performed with the minimum of disruption and to agreed time scales.

Stiltz are an excellent and professional company who, from the sales executive home visit to the complete lift installation, were first class. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. John M.

Well designed and engineered product, installation well planned and delivered on time. What more could you ask?

The whole installation from original decision to buy, the initial survey and quotation, the consideration of options, the detailed survey, the actual installation, and explanation and instruction of use, were all carried out in an exemplary fashion. The work also finished early. The only drawback was the firm employed by Stiltz, to remove the rubbish, damaged a garden wall, and showed no inclination to repair it. I was left to do it myself. Nevertheless, an excellent service by the company.

Lack of communication with all people involved, otherwise a very good and useful product

From booking the advisory to come out to the final installation everything went smoothly. There was no pressure from your advisor to purchase the lift. Just facts and advice. The surveyor put my parents at ease. All the timings they gave us were stuck to and we were kept fully updated through the whole process. The installation team were brilliant. Very professional and cleaned up as they went along. They gave my parents clear and uncomplicated instructions on how to get the most from the lift. They answered any questions we asked and took time to make sure my parents understand completely how to use the lift. Since the lift was installed my parents are very happy with it. The lift makes life easier and safer for for not just my Dad but for my Mum as well. We have taken out the extended service plan as we feel that it gives us extra piece of mind and with the yearly services and 24/7 breakdown cover if anything does ever go wrong they know help is just a phone call away.

We chose a lift in order to avoid moving home. Everything went extremely well. The salesman was knowledgeable and explained about necessary building work. Not at all "pushy" ! All the fitters/engineers were friendly, excellent workers, helpful and polite. Cleaned up afterwards, and willing to fit in with our way of life. The office staff have always been helpful and polite and answered any queries quickly. The lift itself works very well and we are very pleased as we feel it is worth paying the extra to avoid having a stair lift.

Wonderful service from start to finish. Your workmen were both kind and respectful to me and to my home, leaving it spotless. Having experienced the use of a stair lift in a previous home, I am finding this lift far more useful in so many ways. It has turned my house into a bungalow for me,I am delighted . Thank you Stilts
