Having used Rentguard for a few years now, I am pleased with the level of service and competetive pricing. Fortunately I have never needed to make a claim, so can't comment on that aspect of the insurance products, however my experience to day gives me every confidence that if help is needed it would be there. I received my renewal documentation by email in good tim. Luckily I read through each attachment as a new risk question had been added as to whether the property was a house of multiple occupancy and had unrelated tenants. This is our third year of a rent guard house policy and the whole point was that it was for a house rented out to students. When I rang to speak about this, the quote then went up by over £100. I felt that rent guard as the agents should have alerted me to this new risk question as the policy is specifically for rental properties and I would assume that some people will not be insured properly as a result of having missed this one line on about 6 attachments.
Googled Landlord Insurance and up came every player including RENTGUARD. I settled for them because the online app was simple, straight to the point, easy to compare and very accessible. The quote was bang on! Online policy down loan with terms spelt out was immediate and cover confirmed. Hope there claims will be as efficient, just in case!!
