First time I have used this Broker and I was so impressed with the service I received when asking a few questions. Very cheap and easy to buy the policy and as long as they stay competitive I will stay with them.

It was quick and easy to renew. However I was rather dismayed that I never received an automatic renewal notice as I have begun to rely on that having been a customer for several years. Thus the property was uninsured for about a month. Just very pleased nothing happened during that period.

Rentguard insurance organised our buildings insurance for our property. We foudn the company to be good and efficient in all areas of administration when arranging cover for our required police. I would recommend them to anyone looking for buildings and contents insurance.

I received a call to let me know that my policy was due to expire the next day! The renewal papers sent out a month earlier (according to the company, I've no reason to doubt them). The papers were emailed to me immediately and the quote was acceptable. I was able to renew straight away. Saved hassle and stress - thank you for your vigilance.

Proactive customer service where I get a reminder call ahead of renewal by post. Changes in requirements taken on board and new features explained without being oversold. Outstanding value for money on my Landlord insurance for the past 5 years at least. Well done and thank you.

The web site allowed me to buy insurance even though it said I had to get a full credit reference on my tenants, therefore have paid for insurance which is of no use at the moment

Firstly I will say that I had no issue with the online quotation or the call back as such. However the first quote was way too high and only stating I would renew with my current provider when they called back to see if was taking up the quote did the price drop about £40 to just below my renewal figure. The paperwork made some assumptions that were not correct so you do need to check and get them corrected to see if that makes a difference to the premium or might invalidate your insurance. I had expected better as they are advertised by the RLA but just as with most other insurance you have to work to get a reasonable premium. Why don't they just give you the best price in the first instance and save everyone time and money? Also do not like the fact that at the time you get the quote you are automatically opted into mailings and you have to read the paperwork that comes through and write email or phone to tell them you don't want more junk mail.

A very good service one phone call initiated by Rentguard and within 20 minutes the renewal of the polcy was paid and the documents received by e-mail

I've never had to claim so can't vouch for that. Beware when you renew that they add a £15 admin charge and a £15 legal charge, which they will remove if you ask but surely they should not put it there in the first place. Imagine Tesco charging an admin charge for taking your money!

I received a great and quick service from Rentguard when I finally managed to talk to someone. After some initial confusion, I called and emailed twice before someone replied. As soon as I was talking to someone the process went smoothly and the service was great.

I discovered my landlord insurance had lapsed by 2 weeks - Rentguard had switched to electronic communication but had recorded wrong email address and also wrong phone number so that failed too. However my 10 years as a customer was rewarded by the policy being backdated - "Simba " was polite and courteous even though I was quite upset during this call - he was just great!
