The process is clear and efficient. However, I wanted confirmation in an email to several questions raised with my account manager, Gavin Sandys. He phoned me back and answered my questions but I understand there is a policy in the company not to confirm things in an email or writing, only on the phone. This leaves me in an uncomfortable state that I am not sure if my concerns will be honoured in case of a claim. There is no better way for both sides to clarify things in writing/email. Reluctance to do so is unjust and may cause conflicts in the future. In any case, I accepted your quote and paid for another year.
Just had a recent call from Rentguard who had automatically covered me following a lapse of policy (which was in error). Big bonus as I hadn't noticed. Made the process, payment and confirmation very easy.
I found this insurance agent through OpenRent online agency. The people were very good and the rate was much better than my existing building and contents insurance. Thanks for all your help to Rentguard and to Openrent

A good price for the cover I wanted which was just legal fees and rent recovery in the event a tenant defaults. My managing agent(Leaders) wanted £297 for the same cover which cost £99 through Rentguard.
Have just purchased my first buildings insurance policy through Rentguard. The service I received was outstanding and I made a substantial saving on the previous policy I held. The whole process from obtaining a quote to receiving my policy documents was very quick and easy and I will be adding my other properties as and when they come due for renewal. The person I spoke to on the phone was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this company.

I've been with Rentgaurd for a few years now and have been very happy with the quality of service that i've received from them.
Disappointment that I get contacted 4 days after expiry of the policy with a phone 'voice mail' to say premium is due , then told actually 'oh sorry no - it has expired . I tried to recall when I got home from work to be told renewal team finishes at 530 pm and told by Simba to recall the next day , it seems the team I spoke with (New business) were unable to take my payment . I requested that Gavin jn renewal department phones me the next day and leave my mobile number as i am out to work all day so that I can be got hold of . No phone call was received and I had to rush home to phone again before 530 . When I asked why I had not received renewal papers was told these had been emailed to me . The email address used was incorrect and this had never been checked with me as had not used for over 5 years . Apart from obvious breach with compliance regulations this was a very poor and disappointing service and needs to be escalated through managers
