We haven't had to put a claim in, but our contact with the company was great, Emails were answered very quickly and answers to my legal questions were quick.

Whilst taking out Landlord insurance I was unsure of a few section of the policy and whether this insurance would cover my needs. Rentguard went over and above their customer care obligations by ringing me when I requested to discuss the points. This ultimately directed me to a different policy for the same fee which met my needs more. Would recommend Rentguard to any Landlord

I had a real pleasure of speaking to a customer service representative while purchasing a new Tenants Liability policy from Rentguard. The representative has been incredibly helpful at explaining all the issues and answering all my questions re the policy. She spent quite a bit of her time with me and was very understanding of some of my concerns. Her telephone manner was exceptionally polite and she was most certainly knowledgable about the product she was selling. I would like to express my gratitude to Rentguard for the great service.

Not impressed that I have been sent all documents via email. I prefer to receive hard copies in the post. I have had to print them out myself!

I had been dealing with Gavin for a few days and then Matthew put my policy into place . Two very friendly and helpful staff members . I work in retail myself so I understand the importance of good customer service :)

Phone answered almost immediately by a real person - so unusual these days that I wasn't ready to answer! The person I spoke to was unsure of some matters and needed to consult a supervisor. Caused delay but better than giving me the wrong info. At times his diction was not clear and I had to ask him to repeat himself. He showed a helpful attitude.

I have recently re insured my rental property and found their service extremely efficient. No ' All our operators are busy but your call is important to us ' messages. Jamal was very helpful and although i haven't made any claims, i feel that if i should need to claim, i will receive the same high standard I do not hesitate in recommending Rentguard. David

I used the RentGuard referencing services via the OpenRent portal,very easy to use and great value for money. I also took out RentGuard Insurance again a simple process, and more than happy with both products.

I was dealt with very quickly; no long waiting on the phone. Everything was completed on the phone efficiently. The process appeared to cover all aspects of the insurance. There was no getting bogged down in minute detail though the formalitiues were all gone through.

Cover appears to be good value for money but Rentguard will not confirm prior to commencement of a claim whether the tenants documents meet Rentguard 4 point check for cover purposes. They advise that they will confirm this at the point you make a claim under the policy. This gives them the option to say the documents are not adeguate once you submit a claim and means the landlord thinks they are protected under the policy when in fact they are not.

A very helpful chap phoned me before I had time to phone them when I came to a problem with my on-line quote. He took me through the rest of the process quickly and efficiently and they appear to be quite a bit cheaper than Direct Line.
