I have found Rentguard to be very professional in their dealings with me, they have made sure that i have the protection that is required for my circumstances and have not pressured me into anything that i did not want or need. Luckily for me i have never had to make a claim (this is my 2nd year with them) but i feel confident that should the need arise that i do require them to act on my behalf that i will have the dedicated Rentguard team behind me to deal with any problems that could possibly arise and to act in my interest to a successful conclusion of any claim.

The people I spoke to were very polite, but it was frustrating to have to make 3 phone calls to try and get name spellings and an address right on the documents. In the end, It was almost right and I couldn't face a 4th phone call. I was shocked to see that the name against the debit card payment was also significantly incorrect, but I was informed this couldn't be changed. I ended up losing confidence in the company, despite them being recommended to me.
Very speedy service and great communication. Did feel a little rushed in terms of speeding through the questions, but it was a good price. Overall an easy way to sort your insurance.
I was seeking contents for a 1 bed flat. I have not had landlords contents for the whole time I've owned the flat and answered no to a question. This meant I had to ring them. The agent who answered seemed to think I wanted buildings insurance for a block of flats! and then wanted to know why I hadn't had contents continuously insured. After a ridiculous conversation when he kept saying "the underwriters require the information I hung up". They rang me back the next day and a much more switched on agent said they actually needed to know if the buildings (not contents had been insured). He was re-assured when I said I pay managing agents for property insurance. Perhaps Rentguard need to re-phrase their additional questions for contents only and stop regarding this as an add-on to buildings insurance. !
Rentguard provided a quick and efficient service, I've used them for many years and have always found them to be helpful and very competitive.
My first name has just two letters. Somehow you only accept three or more letters in the entrance page. I had to use my wife's name to work around it. Then change it back later. That's a glitch, hope you can improve it.
