they adapted the policy for what I needed, only time will tell if its good, thus 4 stars instead of 5.
It's easier than you think, take a few photos and a quick description of your property and it's online in no time, I found my tenant after 2 days of advertising, contracts signed after 5 days! 1/10 of the price estate agents were charging.
Very little waiting time to be put through to he telephone operative. Friendly helpful manner giving the impression that they were actually trying to help me and that my business really mattered. Have had mainly bad experiences with call centres in the past. Rentguard were a pleasant surprise. Problems resolved ,answered my questions everything sorted for another year. Would recommend.
Kyle dealt with my online enquirer and rang me assist and offer a discount. Very helpful, polite and knowledgable. Thank you.
They contacted me and followed up. They offered full advice and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend.
I found it easy to arrange cover by telephone and the premiums are reasonable. Policy taken out just 2 days ago.
A really helpful company. Very efficient and knowledgeable. It was my first time searching for landlord house insurance. Rent guard gave me so much helpful advice and information. I am so happy I have just renewed my policy with them for a second year.
I had to call a number of times to get the insurance I required It should have been dealt with by one sales person.
Generally excellent service on the phone. Only docked a star because for the second year running renewal papers were not sent out and I had to chase. But the price was a few pence lower than last year so no real complaint.
Clear documentation provided by going through OpenRent, good value insurance and swift response to query raised on the telephone.
There was confusion at my end with email address but once notified of my new address Rentguard responded very promptly.
Would recommend to anyone who wishes to take out insurance. Will be telling my friends and family
Easy call with new business team. No problem in changing details to suit requirements. All done and dusted in one call.
We had to call and email several times to get the referencing for our flat through OpenRent was finished. Every time they kept saying the same thing although the landlord told us that they had not received the all the documents. We had to call several times plus send lots of emails before it happened and it took over a week. We got two automated emails saying everything was confirmed but the landlord got emails that we were missing references. There was also a number of automated emails going to landlord because we started the process on a Friday. So even though they dont actually work on weekends, they still count the days and then send an email to the landlord saying that we have not done what was required. We also called to request a copy of the paperwork, was told to email, and now on email told to send a request by post AND pay for that too. Inefficient and time consuming for absolutely no reason. So to sum it up - they managed to jeopardise our relation to our new landlord and almost cost us the apartment because of there extremely conflicting information.
Posted out a quote for a price I thought was reasonable. When I called to take out the police, it went up an extra £120. I believe this was done as an after thought and to rip off the customer. Had no choice at that point to take out the policy due to time restraints. Will change company's next year.
An excellent service and product price.
Only had to renew my policy, but was sent personalised emails with a name to contact, which is a nice change ! You feel less of a number and more of a human! Otherwise did not have any other contact relative to a claim! Thanks
Well worth asking Rentguard for a quote - you might be surprised.
I own two houses in London that are insured by Rentguard. I am now resident in New Zealand and contacted the Rentguard office to ask for all future postal correspondence to be sent to my New Zealand address. Rentguard updated the address information on my policies and emailed them to me. I looked and saw that my NZ home address was incorrect on the policies, including the spelling of New Zealand (the policies show I live in NEWZEAL AND) and no postcode included (important for accurate postal delivery). When I phoned and pointed this out to a Rentguard employee, I was told the Rentguard "computer system" doesn't allow for overseas addresses to be input accurately. Go figure! Despite the fact I have building and contents insurance policies with Rentguard on two properties, they cannot enter my postal address properly on correspondence. Not what one would expect from a company's technology in 2016 is it?
Very efficient and quick, improved the cover and the terms. Job done, could not have been quicker and very polite, thank you
