Makes renting out a house so much easier for those of us who are new to it - my usual insurers were making things so difficult, passing me from person to person, ringing me back, taking days to respond. Rentguard took care of everything straight away.

Experienced Rentguard through Openrent. They messed up the applicants information, using the incorrect address. They declined on the basis of the address and that they could not contact an accountant to verify my tenant's income, however I've since been forwarded clear email threads where their requests were responded to. Resulted in delay and my property sitting empty for longer. Email correspondence was not responded to and difficult to speak to via phone.

Competitive quote. Not an easy conversation. Could have been handled so much better. Multiple properties needed considering one at a time. Questions demanding a yes/no answer when there is no yes/no answer.

The representative was very thorough in explaining terms of the insurance and identifying exclusions. He was very helpful, in fact too helpful! He deserves more than 4 Starts - more like 4.5 Stars.

would not pay out because i did not take the correct amount of deposit when l asked to cancel policy & receive a partial refund they were happy to cancel policy but no refund after 14 days !!! since writing this review i have been contacted by customer services & received a pro rata refund . Thank you rentguard but why did i have to write a bad review ?

For under £100 I have protected my rental income for a full year. To me it's worth the peace of mind in today's uncertain employment arena. Better value than any other insurance I could find.
