Took my wife's Ibiza for a software update to hopefully cure a battery drain issue. I received a call saying they had a duty of care to inspect the car. I was told there was too much oil in the engine and it needed a set of front discs and pads. I explained they were replaced 3 months earlier and later realised 750 miles ago. Cost was £15 & around £250. I had this checked by my local service centre. The oil was exactly on Max. And the discs only had surface rust due to lack of use and wet winter weather. If my wife had delt with this, money would have been wasted, as I was the one that had them done originaly. I emailed Jennings Middlesbrough. Recieved a " we will respond within 24 hrs" email. Well over a week later and no reply. Update. Some months have now passed, weather warmed and both discs are totally clear of any rust in the pad contact area.

I had never bought a used car online before and was quite nervous about the process. But I needn't have worried, I received excellent, helpful, friendly service from Mal Singh from the start. He was so patient with my numerous questions and changes of mind. I'm also grateful to Dave Nicholson who dealt with the final details and ensured that my Ford Fiesta 1.0 Titanium ecoboost arrived in perfect, 'like new' condition. I couldn't be more delighted with it. I really liked the wide range of choice buying a car this way gave me, together with the peace of mind provided by the warranty, breakdown cover and RAC inspection. First time I have bought a car from Jennings Stockton. I found the sales staff were friendly, helpful and not pushy. I was quoted a good price both for my part ex and for the new car without having to haggle for hours, and there was no pressure to buy Insurance, optional extras or a more expensive model. The whole purchase process was clearly explained. The car was ready when promised and the salesman checked everything over with me before handing me the keys. Based on this experience, I will return to Jennings, Stockton if I decide on another Ford for my next car.
I used the car pick-up and return service which Jennings provide and although things were running about two hours later than originally planned the car was picked up and returned safe and sound. The service was OK (the car feels better for it) but the bodywork check failed to notice the damage to the rear bumber.
Greeted and shown around appropriate cars, after answering questions about what I wanted. Everything about purchase and any extra offers well explained together with car features.
I can honestly say that this car buying experience with Craige has restored my faith in car salespersons. Non of the 'well the deal could be this or that'. But a straight forward written understandable price to pay. Then when actually handing over the vehicle, he took great pains to explain everything in detail, from his in depth knowledge of all controls. All in all a pleasurable car buying experience.

I changed my car last week at Jennings Ford after being offered an excellent part exchange deal in conjunction with a "Ford" special offer that was on at the time. All of the staff I encountered on my visit to Jennings were polite, friendly and helpful, without being pushy in any way. Ian Mccluskey (the salesman), was excellent, and handled all aspects of the car purchase with speed, efficiency and with a pleasant easy going manner. I am delighted with my new car and will give Jennings Ford the first chance to do a deal, the next time I change!!
Leased a car from Kia Washington, however I was split between a Kia or a car from elsewhere. It was the excellent level of customer service I recieved from Kia which persuaded me. Graeme Pritchard had great knowledge of the cars, and went out of his way to make sure I was happy. Would definitely return!
Jennings are a very easy and friendly Ford outlet offering a first class,competeitive, sales and service back-up. There is no sales pressure, the service is reliable, and hence, if Ford can offer an appropriate vehicle, there is little incentive to go elsewhere. I know very little about cars for me it needs to get me from A to B with out breaking down. Nor am I a technocrat so simple explanations are needed. Both of these I received from Graeme at Jennings Washington KIA The test drive I think was an ordeal for Graeme rather than me but the process was well handled and I enjoyed the driving experience so much so we bought the car. I am still finding out about the car but it is still good to drive and the pictures on the controls helps a numpty like me navigate my way through them. The car is a KIA SOUL automatic.
We bought a used car from Jennings - delivery from North to South was arranged quickly and efficiently, and the car arrived newly MOT'd as promised, with the proviso that one of the keys appeared faulty, but this could be sorted through a local dealer and paid for by Jennings. It turned out that the boot catch was also dodgy, but this only became apparent as the car was driven for a little longer - this too was sorted with no fuss. Throughout, Paul Thurlwell of Jennings was courteous and efficient, organised everything to suit us - and we have a great car which drives really well. A really good experience for us, we'll use Jennings again, and will be recommending them without reservation. Many thanks to Paul T too!
