After viwing a used car at Middlesbrough Jennings the sales person vowed to call us with some valuation information regarding a potential deal. By midday the call hadn't come through so I called Jennings. My sales person was with another customer but they'd get him to call me. An hour later I called again. He was with another customer. I offered that they didn't seem very enthusiastic about selling me a car. The guy I was speaking to volunteered that he was a sales manager and he took my details again. Shortly after the original sales person called and claimed he'd tried to call me that morning but must have wrote my number down incorrectly. He hadn't. I'd watched him write it. He gave me the valuation details I'd asked for and on that basis I told him I was coming through to make a deal to buy the car. As I live a significant distance away I told him I'd be there in 40 mins. I arrived to find that while I was on my way they sold the car to another customer. The sales person said he would have called me en-route but didn't have my mobile number. If he'd been bothered he could have tried the house number and spoken to my wife. I got a cursory apology and was fobbed off to another sales person to find me an alternative. Despite the apology from the embarrassed 2nd sales person I would say that I was met with indifference to how I'd been treated. All in all I found the level of customer service to be quite appalling.

I ordered new mats for my Ford Kuga, they were delivered to my house 2 days later.(in Aberdeen) They were cheaper than my local dealers could supply them for and are an excellent quality item. Definitely Recommended

I have had 9 Fords up to now and this is my third from Jennings ford Middlesbrough. The service from start to finish has been excellent and everyone goes that extra mile. The staff at Ford Middlesbrough are certainly a credit to the group. I can't fault them for their friendliness and professionalism. You are treat like one of the family. Thank you.

Ordered Ford Galaxy roof bars on a Wednesday night. Realised I'd made an error in the vehicle details I'd entered so emailed update straight away. Got an email 9am Thurs morning acknowledging my email, details rectified and the bars arrived as described Friday. Couple of pounds next to cheapest price I could find online and with the excellent service I would definitely use again. Jennings were £20 cheaper for genuine bars than Halfords were for their own brand.

I could not believe as to the professional manner in which my order was handled. Not only the prompt service also the excellent communication between Jennings Ford and myself. The ordered item arrived expertly packed and within a week to South Africa. If only we in South Africa had the same dedication and expertise that Dave Garth of Jennings Ford displayed, it would be such a pleasure. Keep up the good work. I ordered a boot mat for a Ford Focus from Jennings Ford, excellent price and even had a call from them to see if there was a problem when the courier couldn't find us in. I will definitely order from them again.

There seems to be an widespread problem with Ford badges getting water behind the plastic and becoming "cloudy". A new TDCi badge was ordered from Jennings as it was the cheapest genuine one online. It is exactly as described and also arrived very quickly...well done

Bought a used car from Jennings Seat at Middlesbrough. Had a problem with the Air con when just out of its 3 month warranty. Contacted them by email and within hours revived a phone call. They agreed yo look at it. Then cover the cost and carry out the full repairs. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Well done Jennings.

Refunded Deposit HC's do have Tyre Pressure Warning light btw Test drove Honda Civic 2010 it pulled excessively to the left. Told I would receive a full report on purchase. On delivery day was told it was the tyre pressure , I asked why the tyre pressure warning light didn't come on. response was it wasn't low enough for the sensor to pick up on. (Low enough to cause severe pull to the left) I wasn't satisfied with this so was told Jennings had asked their chief mechanic who told them that Honda Civics didnt come with this feature. Strange Jennings advertised this feature on car advertisment. I refused delivery then was told the log book would be sent to me in the post by DVLA (I never signed any log book) and also I had to send it back to them or I would be responsible for any speeding tickets or parking fines, On speaking to DVLA they told me not to send back to Jennings but back to them explaining I never signed the Log book or took delivery. Oh and theyre keeping my deposit, BEWARE and if you have purchased a used car from Jennings I would have it checked out for your own piece of mind especially if its a Honda Civic.

I have been trying to gain access to this site since I purchased my Ford Fiesta in 2010 from Jennings ford of South Shields but I have always been blocked because I have not been provided with a customer ID Which seemed to be a requirement for access. In spite of being provided with a signed RAC certificate that car had been thoroughly inspected I list below the faults that I had to contend with. 1 The screen wash system completely frozen up due to lack of antifreeze 2 Greasy finger marks on interior head lining 3 Paintwork damage to the rear of vehicle 4 Under inflated tyres 5 No key code for locking wheel nuts (The wheel nuts had obviously been transferred from another car) 6 No key code for door locks - which still has not been provided 7 Super guard body work treatment was so badly applied that all had to be rubbed down and re-applied 8 Vehicle description on their brochure stated that it had FOLDING REAR SEATS while, in reality only the seat BACKS only, folded down . With regard to the so called RAC ' signed' certificate the salesman must keep a drawer full of pre-prepared certificates to hand out to unsuspecting customers The so called FREE floor mats were obviously standard equipment as the ticket on the backs were stamped 2010, the same year of the car's manufacture.

I bought a car in March off Chris Lamb who was very polite and extremely helpful. He advised me on everything I asked. The whole process was quick and smooth. I was introduced to the girls in the service department which was very nice, they were both full of smiles! I thought from beginning to end the whole experience was fantastic, I enjoyed my visit, and I love my new car. Thanks Jennings I will certainly be recommending you to friends and family.

Where do i start!?! As they have been established for so long when it came to buying my first car there was only one place that came to mind and i was thrilled with teh result. My family have purchased vehicles from Jennings for years and have been well looked after as if we're part of their family. Not only at point of sale but throughout the journey, family and frends have remarked at how great the experience was, particularly the helpfulness of the young ladies at the service reception! I was very happy with the deal i got and look forward to visiting Jennings for my servicing and furture purchases. I highly recommend Jennings to any and everyone
