Having visited several dealerships beforehand with distinctly variable experiences at each, my experience here was straightforward and simple, with no hard sell and good advice given. I am very pleased with my new car and the price I paid.

I opted to buy the new Mazda 3 and was given lots of help regarding the type of deal I should go for. The staff were really helpful and patient and didn't try to push me into making decisions. Alex was great and I actually drove my new car away a week later!! I am thrilled with my car and can't fault the service I received from Jennings.

I purchased a ford focus titanium x ecoboost as a surprise for my wife , I was promised that a 2 hr appointment would be needed with her when we picked it up . I took half a day off work , as did my wife , when we both got there the salesman Alan Platten sat us down and his opening line was , I will not be spending two hours explaining the car to you as it has so many things to learn , you would not take it in . the sales person Alan Platten then said to my wife that there would be a form to fill in showed us a copy of one and stated that it was really important that she ticked every box as a positive , or the company will get a huge fine and he couldn't tell us how much , my wife was at this point annoyed and asked that surely the form would ask if we had the 2 hour demonstation , he said yes but just tick that you have and anything you need to know about the car you can pop in and just ask me Alan Platten , he then took mt credit card and gave it to a guy in finance to take the remaining of the deposit , then took us both out to the car , he showed my wife how to start the car , went through some basic details then told her to drive and enjoy as she has had a ford focus for 10 yrs , its just got some nicer features on it , he sinc the phone but said he didn't know anything else about the system , but to just read up on it , the next day we noticed a light was out on the front passenger side and my wife could not use her phone , my wife went in to see Alan Platten , she had to sit and wait for fifteen minutes , when he turned up she explained about the light and the phone , he told her the light was an extra light that worked on whichever side the car turns into to help light up corners , the phone he didn't have a clue , he told her to go to the ford shop and buy a usb port for £25 , my wife went home and read the book and our daughter told her not to buy anything she would sort it for her , which she has , the next day the weather was really poor and my wife tried to put the wipers on but the washer water was empty , or so she thought , she was pressing the wrong leaver as she hadn't been shown anything regarding the wash wipers . this was the final straw , my wife phoned the reception , asked to speak to a manager , Alan Platten rang my wife and said he told her that if she wanted to know anything she just had to go in and ask for him , my wife told him she would like to speak to his manager and he said that he would tell his manager to ring her at approx. 3 oclock that was on Friday 5th December 2014, we have heard nothing from any one , we are so angry with the service as a whole , unfortunately , we don't expect a reply from this either ,money has passed and contracts signed , A LOVELY SURPRISE FOR MY WIFE RUINED BY A FAILING TEAM .

The overall experience was good, mainly due to the efforts of Salesman Mark Sanders. I have only positive things to say about this gentleman. The negatives were that despite being a Ford Direct car, which had supposedly been through several multi-layer checks, the following faults were immediately apparent on driveaway:- - Auto door unlock not working on drivers door, surely this should have been obvious to everyone who entered the car. -Sat Nav was not working - again "No GPS" was displayed on dashboard display. Surely obvious on even the most cursory of checks

I was invited to attend an appointment to view a Fiesta at the South shields site, following a previous enquiry I had made via email. On arrival at the appointed time I was met by the Sales Executive Mark Taylor who gave me and my husband time to peruse the cars on offer. I was delighted with the range of stock available and narrowed my choices to those within my price range and other requirements. We were then invited to join Mark to discuss each car in turn and to find the one that best matched my needs. At no time did I feel under any pressure to buy. I am now the delighted owner of a 2014 Fiesta Titanium Ecoboost in ice white! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jennings to any one looking to buy a Ford motor car.

I rate Joe's handling of exchange of my old vehicle and new vehicle as exceptional. He had first rate knowledge of the B- Max,was attentive to my needs and handled the whole negotiation up to delivery professionally. Well done.

The team at Jennings Gateshead in particular Paul in the motability department couldn't do enough for me.when I arrived he made sure I was ok and asked me to take a seat for a few minutes whilst he finished what he was doing.he made me a coffee and before I could take a sip he was back and ready to set me up in my new vehicle,after finishing all the paperwork I was shown around my new vehicle and was shown everything and how it works nothing was missed.once the car was handed over to me I took it home and after a few days Paul got in touch with me to check everything was ok and That I wasgetting on ok with the new car.all in all there is nothing I can fault about the whole experience in dealing with Jennings Gateshead.

I have always liked the Fiesta, the B-Max is still a Fiesta but with more class, higher wider and more comfortable, would recommend to anyone. I have only been with Jennings Ford but with excellent service I have received over the years I see no reason to change.

Really excellent service received from sales adviser Graham Reynolds. Always able to contact him if I had any questions also the staff on reception were always very friendly and helpful. Would definetly recommend.

negotiated a car deal on Monday, everything arranged over email, went to collect it on Saturday and everything was in place as i requested. Good comms between Sales guys meant everyone knew to expect me and what had been agreed Good experience and would recommend!
