Absolutely diabolical!!! My son has a motability vehicle through the Middlesbrough branch. A fault appeared on the 10th May and they accused me of putting diesel in a petrol car 🤔 I requested through the insurance to get a sample of the fuel as I had not misfuelled (cause the nozzle doesn't fit!) This was authorised through Hoopers on the 24th May (due to the dealership not telling me I had to put it through the insurance in the first place) I rang on Monday 7th June for an update to be told the sample had gone weeks previously. LIES! I have just rang the insurance, who contacted Hoopers (they're testing the fuel) and they are still chasing the sample. Avoid with your life because this isn't the first complaint I have had in the last 2 years

Have used Jennings ever since I purchased my focus 4 years ago. Have had a service plan out with them along side my MOT but never again. Every single year they have failed it on the same thing wrong light bulbs fitted even though they were passed with same ones last year, but to top it all off the amount of defects they recorded this year was over 10. They asked for a bill of £285 to sort it which I said no. I travelled 28 miles to get this done and had to get a lift there and back as only courtesy car they had was a transit van and my partner never felt happy driving a van for that distance when never drove one before. So instead of taking for a retest we paid a very reputable garage for a new mot. Yes it failed on 2 light bulbs but that’s what it cost £1.50 to put right. And there was no long list of defects. Just one minor. To say they i was mad is an understatement. NEVER AGAIN AND AVOID IF YOU LIKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IN YOUR POCKET.

We have used the garage a lot and before I would have given then 4 starts. Our C-max had developed two faults and my wife forgot to mention them when booking the car in for a FULL service. I popped in and told them about the automatic boot door not opening all the way and the moon roof screen would no longer closed. They recorded the faults but said they were not sure if it would be done at the same time. After leaving my wife at the Metro for the best part of 6 or 7 hours she was told the services was done but neither fault had been fixed. 1. The wilting tail gate was not going to be fined 2. The other fault could bit the simulated. It fails 100% of the time. This shows the level of skill used! Then after another trip they charged us for something which should have been covered with the extended warranty! Poor poor customer service, what a shame such a nice garage has lost it customer focus! Good luck I will not be returning again. Vote with your feet and stay way!

#Jenningsfordstockton - I have given Jennings a one start review only because you cannot leave a zero or indeed a minus rating. My Focus RS was in their garage for the third time with an engine fault. This time it was the turbo. They had the car recovered to them on a Saturday. By Wednesday they still hadn't looked at it. The promised courtesy car had not arrived either. They admitted that they did not have anyone familiar with the car and they were waiting for an online session with Ford. They diagnosed the fault on line ( google ? lol) and ordered the part. Four days later the courtesy car turned up (some 6 days later than it was due). The following week the part turned up and did not fix the fault, so further parts were ordered. Finally after three weeks and a week without transport and after much chasing the car was returned working. Sadly the car had not been cleaned and the interior resembled a joiners workbench. And an untidy joiner at that. I can only assume that the car had been in a workshop for the duration with the windows down. During the time the car was with them, not once did they contact me with an update and i had to chase them to find out what was going on. When i complained about the state of the car on its return i was met with contempt. A promised call from the dealer manager has not materialised. I summary no customer care, no courtesy car, no one trained on a car they sell, and the car returned filthy inside and out. Worst main dealer on Teesside.

Previously bought 2 new cars from Jennings dunston/Gateshead. Current car is 14 plate fiesta with less than 18,000 miles on so well below average use for age of vehicle. Mileage/temperature display started flicking on & off & coming up with dashes or figure eight's. Jennings said book it in it will cost £102 then we will tell you whats wrong with it & then charge you accordingly. I enquired that due to age & use this should be of a manufacturing concern - workshop controller said its not its a electrical fault. Accountability is not being taken on board, i have looked on various websites & it appears that this is a common fault among various ford vehicles....but not according to Jennings!! I wont be getting my next new car (in the next couple of months) from Jennings thats for sure.... Wonder when Lookers buy them out if the customer attitude will change?

I been to Jennings Ford Gateshead to fix the oil leak in my ford galaxy. He fixed the problem I paid for it. Another day got another issue and I couldn’t start my car been again to check they said it’s an injector oil pipe leak the technician ordered it and I waited for 2 days. Its been fixed but in the workshop after fixing the injector return pipe got a management light on. The ford workshop man said if we diagnose the problem you will pay extra money for diagnosis. If problem you created after fixing one thng why I pay for the diagnosis. Completely not happy with the service. I thnk the local garages are better thn the ford garage I realised. I won’t go again to Jennings Ford Gateshead. Won’t recommend to any one

Purchased used 2017 Ford Tourneo Custom mpv registration NV66VOY from Jennings Transit Centre. Deal included the first Interim service which was overdue when purchased. Ford's Transit Custom service schedule is 36,000 miles or 2 years for a full service and 12 months or 18,000 miles for an interim service. The vehicle was 14 months old and had only done 5,500 miles so it required the latter. The service book was stamped but I question whether any service inspection or work was done. The Ford interim service specification is basically a total vehicle physical inspection with top up of all fluids. When delivered the oil level was on the minimum level on the dipstick, the coolant was on minimum and I had to add 15 litres of Eco Blue to top-up the 20 litre urea fluid tank. Obviously if the fluid levels were checked they were not topped up which is an essential part of the Ford service procedure/specification, probably to save a bit of cost as the amounts of oil, antifreeze and Eco Blue needed to top-up levels would not be expensive. As the cost savings of not topping-up are small I question if the service record was just stamped and no actual inspection was carried out. I was fortunate as the vehicle had very low mileage so the chances of anything major being wrong were low. This would not be the case with a higher mileage vehicle. Disappointing overall as sales experience was not straight forward either.

#jenningsfordmiddlesborough. Spent £16k cash on an ST focus, floor mats had been taken. After several pressing emails the response was “when another car comes in I’ll take those” great now someone else’s will suffer. I requested new and was told as it was a second hand car they won’t order new. Great service! Coupled with poor customer service I wouldn’t recommend to anyone

I'll keep this brief as there were far too many issues to go into here and to be honest, after a year of dealing with these unprofessionals at the Ford commercial centre in Middlesbrough, I just don't have the energy any more! If you value your sanity......avoid this Ford dealership!!

I can only speak for the Seat garage in Middlesbrough, but I would avoid this place at all costs. They have no respect for their customers whatsoever - once they've taken your money, that is. They've failed to log something that was part of my deal and upon being questioned about it have completely lied to me, even making me out to be a liar when I am simply a genuine customer asking for what was sold to me. To make matters worse, they have dismissed every email I've sent to them, telling me there's nothing they can do as they 'can't remember' what happened, and acted as though the whole thing has been completely unimportant to them. Save yourself the stress, hassle and grief of dealing with this company and take your service elsewhere.

We have found Jennings ford Gateshead didn't live up to the standard you expect when taking your car to a main dealer. We took it in for an MOT and all of a sudden there was a suspicion of coolant leak (no leaks on our drive) had to leave the car there where they thought it might be the water pump so they replaced it for a cost of £260 (which I am still not convinced it needed). A week later we noticed the coolant levels had dropped so we called out the AA - they diagnosed a cracked radiator expansion tank (not sure why Jennings didn't find this) AA also said they wouldn't of been surprised if we had a water pump changed for no reason. Took our car back to Jennings for it to be fixed and they tried to charge us £90 for a new tank and degas hose - I explained that the car had already been recalled and a new one fitted - they aid they would look into it! Low and behold I get a phonecall saying they will do it for just the parts, the mechanic rambled on how yes they had changed it originally but it was now broken etc etc, this wasn't what he said in his first phonecall when I said it had already been recalled he told me that it had an old hose on it! - why should I pay when this should have been avoided if Jennings had of done their jobs properly when they took the car in for the degas hose replacement? I am now £320 out of pocket because Jennings ford Gateshead are incompetent at their job! I will be taking this further with a complaint in which I will require a copy of the phone calls that I had with this mechanic to hear his backtracking again when I said that he had told me the degas hose was an old one. My partner loves his ford car and was planning on buying a new one but there is unfortunately no way we will be buying another ford after this - the after service is just shocking! I will be making my thoughts also know on social media and internet about Jennings ford Gateshead. I strongly suggest that someone has a word with the Gateshead branch as I am sure they will be losing ford customers which is a shame for a company that has been around for many years! Disappointed is an understatement! Update - 27/10/2017 after getting in touch with ford directly to complain about Jennings ford Gateshead I received fantastic customer after sales care and was informed by ford that within 2 weeks I would receive a full refund. Ford had looked into everything and had told Jennings ford Gateshead that they must pay me back - I went in to collect my cheque after around 1 week. Thank you Ford, it really is a shame that these dealers are tarnishing your name!

Lack of care of vehicle when inspected for electrical fault and fumes entering cabin. Car fusing daytime running lights running down battery on a regular basis when replaced. Rear tyre lost pressure and would not inflate. After several, attempts it eventually inflated. Car informed garage personel, of faults which were ignored. Rude front of premises staff. No provision of returning car to home address. Not satisfied, and will write another review.

Bought my second car from Jennings Ford in Dunston and i can't recommend them highly enough, particularly Paul Pellegrino who i've dealt with both times. Kind and patient, knowledgeable and not at all pushy, the kind of salesman who deserves praise. Whilst it's going to be some time before i consider purchasing a new car i'll definitely have another Ford and i'll only ask to deal with Paul.

Jennings Stockton . My vehicle a grand c max bought as the demonstrator 4 years earlier from jennings had no mechanical faults in all the 4 years i had the car PRIOR to this memory fault. I was selling it and so it needed an update to the computer. I paid 150.00 for udate which totally broke my vehicle for 11 weeks. IT sat in Jennings Stockton for 11 weeks. They did not know what was wrong with it and when i got my vehicle back it sounded like the engine was loose and it didnt have any power. I did 2 miles and it overheated the engine. After 11 weeks of inconvenience i got my car back..with a new instrument cluster ( very common failure with FORDS. Less than 5 days of getting car back and less than 60 miles later the engine failed. It now needs a new ENGINE.5500 POUND'S . DO NOT BUY FROM JENNINGS FORD STOCKTON OR GET YOUR CAR SERVICED OR UPDATED HERE AS being patient for almost 3 months got me nowhere. FORD head office were no better to be honest, also head office just advised me that Jennings had told them i had my car back A MONTH ...oh no just 5 DAYS I REPLIED..SOMETHING TO HIDE..!!!! Disgraceful company DO NOT TOUCH.

After dealing with SG Petch in Belmont for many years and being disappointed it was a breath of fresh air to meet Craig Parker at Jennings Mazda Middlesbrough. He was helpful, not pushy and friendly. Everything a salesperson should be and on top of that he got us a great deal on an almost new car. Can't see us ever going back to Petch. THANK YOU CRAIG AND JENNINGS MAZDA!!! ☺️

After buying a brand new Ford transit from the Dunston branch and them assuring me that all I needed to do was pay the money for it and they would sort the transfer out, along with disgusting customer service and nobody getting back to me for months now I am still without my private plate and no compensation offer either. This was my first experience using ford jennings and I certainly won't be repeating it! Feel really angry and let down and will be taking this matter further.
